Pre-Christmas visit to Granny's house

We made our annual pre-Christmas visit to Granny's house in Houston and had a great visit!

Laura and I decided to drive up together - with all four boys in the back! LJ was so excited to be in the very back with Eagle Jr! The boys did very well considering that it's a pretty long day! We stopped once on the way up there at a gas station. Neither of the bigger ones napped all day- and all the boys ate more food/ snacks on that trip than I can believe!!

And guess who made a surprise visit!!?? Santa (with a great Scottish accent- reminds us of Uncle Grant!!).
Treats for the dogs too! Wow Santa!!
Evan was excited to see him too!!
Boys all did great! Huge success compared to last year!!

Lunch time- all the cousins got the table!
Had to get one picture with Aunt Nancy before she had to leave- so great to see her!
Granny with the kids at the table (and me feeding Evan!).
Granny and the girls!
Happy little Locke
Outside to play for a while!

And as always, the kids have to play in the dog kennels for a while! Nothing is more fun at Granny's then piling into a cage together!!

Poor Fred wondering why everyone loves his bed so much!

Someone was ready for lunch!!

Attempting some group shots!

Love them!!

Hugs good-bye!

Evan loving his time outside!

And then he passed out hard before we were off Granny's street- he was SO tired!! Successful trip- thanks so much for a wonderful visit!

Then we ended the day with dinner at our house - a chance for the boys to get a little more energy out and play together- which they did!!

 Hugs for Eagle!

Silly boys!
