Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve tradition is to have dinner at Queenie and Grandad's house with the family.  We had a wonderful meal and fabulous time!!

Even the appetizer chips were festive!
Boys got right to playing as usual!
Puzzle time!

Being silly!

LJ asked Laurie to put a cape on him...

Barrett got Christmas Vacation on ... like father like son, LJ was SO excited (even though this would be his first time to watch it)!
Queenie and Evan!

LJ was so mesmerized by the movie! It was really funny!

Eagle Jr having a moment with Santa!

Evan is really into giving these amazing hugs! They are the greatest thing to receive ever!

Piling on to Grandad!
Time to make the salad- the boys are slowly taking over the girls' job of helping Queenie!

Rboinsons (missing Eagle Jr!)

LJ sat to read a book by himself for a moment- this guy loves reading!

Found this painting of Grandad
We got home very late so we tried to get the boys to bed quickly, but not before putting out cookies and milk for Santa! LJ helped me pick out the cookies he made earlier that day. He put 4 cookies on the plate that morning- 2 with icing and a bite taken out of them, and 2 that were not decorated at all. He said the 2 undecorated ones were for Santa and his elf!! We convinced him to leave some extra cookies out just in case Santa was really hungry after all his traveling!

Moved a little table over by the tree for the cookies and milk, and Evan helped us too!

We also decided to move their stockings over by the tree for Santa to have easier access!
In the morning, we woke up to see that Santa had come and left out some toys for the boys!!
And his Elf Mozart made his final appearance by the tree (right top corner of the picture!).
LJ noticed how many bites Santa took of his cookies first thing in the morning!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
