Went to the Edward's House (home to LJ's friend Dylan -and Hudson very soon!- and his parents Jodel and Justin) for some outdoor fun and BBQ-ing today. LJ had a wonderful time swimming (seems over his aversion to pools!), on their splash pad, playing with friends, swinging, etc... Dads on pool duty! Barrett showing LJ how it's done!  Today my friends Jodel, Karyn, Laura and Sang threw a shower for the soon-to-arrive Evan Russell Wood (Due Aug 17, 2012)!! A picture with the wonderful hostesses! I am by far the luckiest and most blessed person I know! Thank you everyone who made this day so very special for us, and missed everyone unable to attend! Another amazing cake by Karyn!  12 onesies to take a monthly picture of Evan for his first year of life! Matching outfits for my boys!!! Can't wait to see LJ and Evan wearing these!! We had dinner at Queenie and Grandad's house to celebrate Dan's birthday.  And before dinner, everyone had a great time outside- playing golf, riding cars, finding bugs, etc! Our last day in the beautiful house on the beautiful beach! Woke up early to an amazing sunrise out of our bedroom window! Had to make the most of our morning so we headed straight to the beach after breakfast.  LJ did a lot of walking along the shore, while Capi went sailing and Gig went paddle boarding. LJ and I walking in center of picture... LJ loved collecting rocks in his bucket "Run Dada!!!" Loved walking up and down the shore- just not into the water (we do NOT have a little dare-devil)! Capi sailing! As soon as we'd take LJ out, he would start saying "Bye-bye ocean. All done water." But Barrett did get him to enjoy some time out there while pointing out boats, birds, etc... Then he surprised us by totally relaxing with Gigi on her paddle board! He was so content! Gigi on paddle board, Barrett and LJ walking, and Capi sailing! Great ending to a morning in the water!
