Happy to be home!

I woke up on Wednesday already missing Barrett but so happy to be back with my babies... and Gigi stayed in town one extra day! It was so fun to get to have a visit with her too!

Wednesday morning, Gigi got the boys dressed, and I got to see their new matching aviator jackets from Capi and Gigi! OMG! I can't stand how cute they look! Here they are at SDDS as we were dropping LJ off for the day.

Then Gigi, Evan and I headed to the mall for a balloon and shopping! Evan is getting pretty demanding about his balloon!

The best entertainment!

We had LJ's school Christmas party today too. It was so cute - the whole thing! I will do a separate post for that....

Dinner time!

Actually- dessert! Gigi is in town so they got ice cream for dessert! Happy boys!

After the boys were asleep, Gigi and I attempting some bread baking! Not our most successful endeavor, but I realize now my baking powder was expired! At least we got quality time together- and a good laugh!

LJ saying goodbye to Gigi as we drop him off at WHPP school... he was already busy in the sand table but willing to give Gigi a big hug and kiss goodbye!

And then we had one last shopping errand before heading to the airport! Evan was enjoying his silly Gigi!
Thank you SO SO much for all your time (and work) here Gigi! We miss you already!

The first thing LJ said when I picked him up from school was, "Well, did Gigi already go back home?" I said yes, and he said, "But don't worry Mom because she will be back soon, Okay?" Haha! We have learned if she just says goodbye and tells him when she is coming back, he handles it much better (compared to the tears I was getting for a while!).

Home in time to play for a few minutes before nap. I got the boys these window stickers (a nativity scene and gingerbread house), and they love them! They rearrange the stickers and keeps them busy for a while!

And Gigi left a parting gift... She bought LJ several ornaments while she was here, and he had one more new one to open....

He was so excited to took it all the way to the couch and sat down to open it!

An airplane!!! He loves it!
Evan wanted in on the action too!

Post nap, I got LJ to help me attempt to make bread again. He was a fabulous helper!!

Then Uncle Joe stopped by... LJ was so excited to watch videos with him!

Bedtime... both these boys LOVE their books!  And thanks to the Benzons, we have a new book to open every time before bedtime! It's so fun!
Little trouble makers climbing on the train table (Evan started this btw!).

So happy to be home with my precious boys!
