Halloween 2013- Woody and Buzz

Image
As soon as the boys were up from naps (which they both amazingly took very good, long ones), we headed to the Robinson's house for pizza, trick-or-treating, and celebrating Halloween together! Getting dressed... happy boys!  My little 'Buzz' was obsessed with this car!  And 'Woody' wanted to carrying around his little Woody! We didn't have too long to at the Robinson's before heading out to trick-or-treat. We had our wagon over at their house so the boys could ride in it between houses, and Laura also had a double stroller in case Evan didn't do well in the wagon. But he did enjoy being in there a lot of the night! The kids seemed to know the drill pretty well though - went right up to the doors, said trick-or-treat, and waited for their candy.  LJ loved showing me every candy he got as soon as he got back to the wagon! He would take it out of the bag, tell me what it was and hold it up, then put it back in. Then after a few h

School Celebrations of Halloween

Wednesday and Thursday, LJ's schools had small Halloween celebrations. On Wednesday, SDDS had 'Pajama Day' instead of dressing up in costumes.  LJ got new Woody pjs from the McDonnells for his birthday, and he was so excited to wear them. And Eagle Jr has Buzz pjs, so it was really cute! We tried to get a picture of them at drop off, but it was not very successful in all the excitement! I also tried to get a good picture with Ben in his cute skeleton pjs- they were all so happy and silly! Then on Thursday, WHPP asked that the kids just wear silly shirts. LJ has a funny zombie shirt that I tried to get him in, but he insisted that he wear the pj shirt he already had on! It was silly enough with a big jack-o-lantern face on it!! His teachers sent this picture of his class with mustaches on! So funny! LJ loves his and still tries to wear it around the house (although it has pretty much lost all it's stick!).

Our plane was only half full, so Evan and I got a row to ourselves and so did LJ and Gigi. LJ came up and sat with me for a few minutes too. Both boys did great. I realized that LJ enjoys and stays entertained with puzzle/ puzzle apps a lot longer than movies so I downloaded a few new ones for our trip- definitely helpful!  Evan stayed busy putting things into and out of a cup for about 20 mins! Ha! And now we are back home!  Best news- Gigi is spending the night!! We headed to Jack Allen's pretty quickly after getting home for our Monday night family dinner. I realized LJ hadn't been around many other kids in a few days, and he was so happy to play with Eagle Jr! Evan happy to be back in Dad's arms! And I had to take advantage of the moment and get a pictures of the
