El Paso!!

On Christmas afternoon, we loaded up the car with all our bags and grabbed the boys from their napping slumber at about 3:30 pm to head to the airport. They we both pretty groggy, but happy (especially LJ as he knew we were going on a plane and to El Paso)!

We parked and took a shuttle to the airport ...

Watching the planes as we wait for ours!

Flight was full so thankfully we had a row to ourselves! Boys did great! LJ was really awesome- watched his shows and played games on the iPad with his headphones on the majority of the flight!  Evan ate more food than I have ever seen him eat- but it kept him entertained! He just got a little bored at the end, but nothing a lap change (onto Barrett's lap) couldn't fix!

Since Capi and Gigi had been out of town until Christmas Day too (when all grocery stores were closed), there was no food in the condo for breakfast. This gave us an excuse to head to Village Inn first thing in the morning for breakfast!
Evan was so hungry he decided to snack on crayons!
Gigi pretending she would paint LJ's face with the crayons...
After a few errands we headed to TECMA to say hi to everyone there--including Barrett who was using an office there to work all day Thursday and Friday.
Evan made himself right at home!
TECMA's welcoming sign greeting Barrett!

Quickly grabbed something in the warehouse area- boys not really allowed back there but they were so curious!

Home to work on decorating gift bags!

LJ spent a lot of time putting stickers all over a bag for my cousin Amanda's baby shower. It was so cute!
Cuddle bugs in the couch!

Frozen yogurt stop! Evan actually didn't like a lot of the flavors we got!

LJ did!!

Being silly at the condo!

LJ loves his new Leap Frog Reader books and pen (it reads the book to him!)
Saturday morning Barrett headed back to Austin to take care of things around the house. We will see him in just one day- but still going to miss him!
LJ being silly!

Straight from the airport to parent's hangar!
First they had to inspect the cool tree with only airplane ornaments!

Then playing inside...
And then out to the really fun stuff- all the ride on things Capi and Gigi have gotten for the boys!
And also Capi's ride-on toys! Evan wants up too!

Outside to help Gigi feed the coyotes

Then we went to Peter Piper Pizza for lunch and playing!

LJ was so sweet- he won all these tickets from the machines, and when he picked his prizes out for getting the tickets, he got himself one small thing and then picked out 2 things for Evan!

After naps Grandma came over for one last visit!
Evan is following in LJ's footsteps - He also is obsessed with making Grandma take him to find all the 'horseees' in all the pictures down the hall!
Grandma and Evan hanging out on the couch!

And early Sunday morning, we got the boys out of their beds early, put them into the car, and then into the plane -wheels up by 8:10 am (which is pretty early for this bunch!).

Evan was a busy little guy on the plane- and we didn't have a car seat for him so no option to strap him in somewhere! But both boys did excellent and we had a great flight. It is so nice to be able to fly in Romeo- thank you parents!!!

Boys ready to get going (and maybe still half asleep!).

Breakfast in the air!

Trying to keep Evan entertained!

 Loving on his Gigi!
He is the biggest cuddle bug ever!
Uh oh- LJ doesn't like sharing his Gigi for too long!

 Chewing his apple...
LJ was up early...now he is trying to lie down!
 And so is Evan!
LJ pretending to sleep with Gigi- only to laugh hysterically moments later... over and over!

And a short 2.5 hours later we have arrived in Austin! Bye Romeo, Capi, Gigi! We love you all so much and can't thank you enough for the ride home!

Barrett brought the Buzz Lightyear that Santa gave him in the car to pick us up... LJ was so happy! He played with him the entire 45 minute ride home!

And Evan was OUT!

Wonderful visit- love everyone we got to see and can't wait to go back! oxoxo
