Grown up fun!!! Fall 2016
Well, no kids in this post... Barrett and I LOVE and adore our kids so much, but we also always cherish our time out/ alone together, date nights, and 'grown-up' time with friends! We are so thankful that we are usually able to get out once a week- sometimes we can't make it work and sometimes we are out more than that- but we love our time together! Here are some of our memories from August to December, 2016.
Ready to celebrate my cousin, Jacob and his beautiful bride, Donna, in Houston. We got all ready and then were freezing in our room, so we put on our robes and laughed at each other while we waited to go!
Fancy and beautiful wedding!!! We loved getting to be there!!
My beautiful Godmother Lori and Aunt Patsy!
There were more roses at this wedding than I have ever seen in my whole life!! AMazing!!!
First dance- what an absolutely gorgeous and fabulous couple!!!
Dinner with these beauties!
Dinner and the Cole Swindell concert with our friends Romeros and Averys... fun!!!
Girls night and sleep over for me!
I only get pedi's if she can join me!! Love!
Josie!!
Visiting my precious brother who I never see enough!
Love him so much!!!
On of my oldest and dearest friends from middle school and up came through town! We got just a few hours with him, but loved catching up!!!
And another dear old friend joined us! We just hung at the house, drank fancy wine from Jason, and enjoyed catching up!!
Coffee date!
Lluvia and I didn't finish talking (do girls ever!) so we snuck off one more night while she was in town for dinner!!
Meanwhile Barrett was having a blast in El Paso at the Sunland Swing Time Golf Tournament!
Craft night at home Depot with my next door neighbor ... and maybe a margarita afterwards to celebrate!
After almost 8 years, I got back in the left seat for a flying lesson!! I had about 10 hours years ago, but basically need to start from scratch! This was my first time flying a 152, and I loved my one hour lesson!
Taylor Swift girls' night at CoTA- my first time out here!! Fun!!!
Rock the Red Kettle Fundraiser for the Salvation Army. Our dear friend Cory Morrow always plays it to raise money for this awesome organization, and love supporting this cause! Had a blast with our friends and got to briefly hang with Cory and Sherry too!!
Volunteering at a Mobile Pantry for the Central Texas Food Bank!
Last time Queenie and I got to hand out produce and some people were a little picky... so we were very excited to have new jobs today!!
Double date night withe our dear friends John and Val! Finally made it to Jack Allen's new sea food restaurant in Round Rock- The Salt Trader! So fun and DELICIOUS!!!
Pedis with my besties!
Barrett and I snuck off to El Paso for a 24-hour date night to go to Los Viejos with my parents. It was a whirl-wind but super fun trip!!!
We got to El Paso in time for my mom and I to go get our nails and hair done! We realized while there that we have never done this together! It was so fun and special!!!
And the finished products! Love being out with these incredible people and the rare chance to get all dressed up and fancy!
And loved getting to hang with so many of our friends at the ball...
It was a masquerade...
