Adventures of Mozart 2016 ... and Mozart gets a friend!

Our Christmas Elf Mozart made his way back to our house to watch over the kids again this year on December 1. He appeared in his usual first morning spot- our Christmas tree (he tends to start and end there!). He didn't really have any wild adventures other than moving around the house. The kids LOVED finding him every morning though, and spoke to him often. LJ usually gets up and heads to school before Evan is even awake, so they each found him separately most days. Ellie would then show us where he was all day! She would grab your hand and take you to see him all day!

The only funny /unique thing from the year, really, happened on December 23! I walked into the kitchen to find LJ and Evan sitting at the bar working on a letter together. LJ was writing it, and Evan was leaning over him participating! I asked what was going on, and they informed me that they were writing Mozart a note to bring a friend (Rex and Ren did this a week prior, and another elf showed up at their house!). SO I told him he better address it to the North Pole and we could mail it off. I helped him sound out 'North Pole', but otherwise, this was all their work! haha!

It took Mozart an extra day to arrange for a friend to come with him, but sure enough, on Christmas morning, an envelope was sitting on the tree with TWO elves above it!!

Mozart on the right, and our new elf is on the left!

The note inside is below:
The kids were SO EXCITED to see this! They first named their new elf 'Elfie' until we realized she is a girl and may want a more girly name! So they changed it to Fifi! We thanked them both for being there and said good-bye on Christmas night. And sure enough, we could not find Mozart or Fifi in the morning! Excited to see what adventures they get into next December! ;)
