Boo-ing!

Boo-ing is a fun and favorite Halloween tradition around here, but this year was our favorite so far!

After football practice one night, we got home to find this sitting on our porch! Yay! We got Boo-ed by one of our new neighborhood friends very early (at the end of September actually!), and it was super exciting!! And we also got 'Boo-zed!'- which was even more exciting for Barrett and me! We got a fun bottle of wine out of the deal! I later saw a post on Instragram from our friends with a picture of the same Boo-basket, so I knew they were the ones who got us!!! Thank you to the Gold family- way to start the season off!

So that weekend we hit up Target and the Dollar Store, and then we got busy making our own Boo- (and Booze) baskets!
Barrett was out of town (and I was sad he missed it), but that Sunday afternoon, we decided to take early baths, put on skeleton pjs, and eat dinner in the car while we went boo-ing some of the friends who live closer to us! The kids were SO excited, and I had a blast too!

The first house we got were the friends who got us- the Golds. Everyone got out of the car at every house, helped set it all up, then I would get Ellie back into her carseat and let the boys ring the doorbell and race back into the car to escape! Haha!! But as it turned out, none of the 4 friends that we boo-ed were home, so we didn't get caught anyway!

House 2- the Averys!

Thought we got away without getting caught by anyone, but later the Avery's sent us this picture! They had us on film! She said they were all so excited to watch the video, and the suspense was killing them! And then, she said they all died laughing when they saw 3 little skeletons, one sucking on a lollipop the whole time (LJ), leaving the basket on the door step! Hahah!!

House 3- the Romeros!

And our final stop, the Gonzalez's! Couldn't believe not a single person was home! When I realized they weren't there, I decided to get a few cute pictures of my skeletons! They were really getting into it (And Ellie grabbed that bottle of wine pretty fast!)! Haha!

I let Ellie ring the bell here since I knew they weren't home! I had time to get us into the car and not get caught! :)
Back home and I was wanting one good picture of all three skeletons! Didn't get a great one, but got a few cute ones!!

Then a plane flew by! Always exciting!!
