Woodmen Do Idaho- August 2016

After a lot of debate, we decided it may be best if the boys did the annual Idaho visit to see Queenie and Grandad alone this year. While Ellie and I were VERY sad to miss it, Ellie is at a harder traveling age, and the boys were so excited to have a trip with just their dad!!!!

So on a Tuesday morning, Ellie and I took all our boys to the airport! I have never been away from LJ or Evan for a whole week, and I was feeling very sad to be missing out on going! The boys on the other hand, could not have been more excited about a 'Woodman' Adventure!

Barrett and Ellie saying goodbye!
A hug for my boys... Man will I miss these little faces!

One extra for my extra huggy boy!
I think Ellie will be in shock- they entertain her all day!
A final wave, and Ellie and I were off...

The first picture I got - boys all got to share a row (after a little drama from booking online, Barrett had to do some manipulating to get this done!).
New plane- together again! Next stop Jackson Hole! Boys did great traveling!!
And their always-amazing grandparents had some pretty special gifts ready for them!

They don't love super-hero stuff at all!

First evening enjoying the view and feeding the rock-chucks!

Breakfast was served by the most awesome super-hero we know! Love this SO much Grandad!!!!
The boys got to help Queenie pick tomatoes from her plant!
Time to work on all those legos!!!
Never fear- Batman is always near!!
Down to the water!

Barrett and the boys would go on daily hikes around Queenie and Grandad's house- always yelling a lot to make sure no bears came (LJ was very big on this!).

LJ writes in his journal every day during rest time!
Today it was a picture of the Woodmen in Idaho - Barrett and the boys below, and Grandad above!

Thursday:
Queenie arranged for a very special adventure for the boys to Bear World. We went last year and loved it... and this year Queenie got them tickets to actually feed the baby bears! This was a big surprise... Unfortunately, Evan did not meet the height requirements, so Barrett and LJ got to do it! This is still the thing the boys talk about the most!!! They loved it!!!

More pics from Bear World!
Friday night Henry and Flory came over for pizza dinner! Love these two beautiful ladies!!
Loving his pizza!!!

LJ drew a picture of 'LJ's love to Dad'- look at all those hearts!!! How cute!! (and I also love Queenie's 'Eye-Pad!')

Hiking ...
Doing a martial arts exercise (Making it rain, pushing it down, freeze)...

I really can't stand the pose! haha!
Run boys!!!! Love it!

Family Face Timing!!!
