El Paso Trip December 2015

I found some super cheap tickets from Austin to El Paso, so I book our family a couple trips! Our first one was December 10-14. We were so thankful to have Aunt Patsy and Lori come visit us in Austin for a couple days before and then help us on the flight to El Paso. Barrett had to work, but I got him tickets from Saturday to Monday so we all flew home together. And it turned out there was a great party going on in El Paso that weekend, so it ended up being great timing!!

Our first stop in El Paso, as usual, was the grocery store!

I turned around and saw this sight- the four of them and the sunset... had to get a picture! LOVE!
My sweet LJ wheeling my huge bag into the condo for me! He carried it all the way from the car to the elevator!

This thing was my dad's ... he loved it so much, and kept it in the living room. He would changed it Every Single Night so you always knew it was the correct date and day!! As it was this week 19 years ago that we lost him, I was feeling a little extra sentimental and changed it daily while there!

Ellie signing 'PLEASE!'

Ran by Capi and Gigi's new house... I think I may be more excited than them about this place! We love and are so grateful to be able to stay at the condo, but two bedrooms, lots of breakable stuff, and 3 kids later, we are ready for some more space! So this trip is our last stay at the condo!

Here is the patio view from the new house. This will be the perfect little yard for the kids!
Evan napping back at the condo... He and LJ both sleep on twin size air mattresses on the floor in Capi and Gigi's room, while Ellie (in the pac n play) and I share the other room!
Friday night we got to have dinner at Lori's house so we could Brianna, Calhoun, my cousin Trisha and Tricia Ann, and of course Aunt Patsy and Lori again!! They were so sweet to have a little package waiting for the boys with precious antlers, coloring books and other fun things! So thoughtful!!!
And we got to see Donna again! Love Ellie in her antlers!!

Ellie had dinner sitting on Tricia Ann's lap!

Attempting a picture of all three in their antlers... not much luck!

Poor Ellie passed out driving a lot!
Even LJ got a few extra Zzzzzz's in the car!

Superheroes ready for bed!
Ellie found and loves my rocking chair from when I was a kid!
Saturday night Capi and Gigi let us be their guests at a very fun party- the Los Viejos annual Christmas party! We came with them 4 years ago - and actually found out we were pregnant with Evan right before (like one hour!) coming to the party! So this time was a little more relaxed for us- and I got to have a drink!! Love my precious parents!!

The theme was Russia, and the decorations were great!

Thanks for including us in such a fun night Capi and Gigi!!! We loved it! Loved hanging with you all, danced the night away and got to see so many friends we hadn't seen in a long time!!

At least one time every trip to El Paso, we try to do a lunch with all our friends with kids at Peter Piper Pizza! We got a group of about 20 together on Sunday- but I forgot to take a picture! Only one I got was of Grandma keeping Ellie company while we ran around and caught up with everyone. They sat together for about 30 minutes so happy- it was precious!!
Delicious dinner at G2 with the family...
I have the most amazing mama in the whole world!!!

And all too quickly, we were at the airport headed back home!

We have a MAJOR Daddy's girl on our hands here! Obsessed!
Both boys sat by Barrett the entire trip, and Ellie spent a good portion over there too! I was across the isle, and took Ellie some of the time as she was particularly fidgety!

Back in Austin, got our bags, and taking the bus to our car... what a day!!
And they were all OUT hard in minutes! Haha!!!
Loved every second of our short trip!!! Thanks to all who made it possible and that we got to see! We hope to be back soon!!!
