Christmas Day 2015

LJ was, as usual, the first one up on Christmas morning! He immediately checked to see if the cookies had been eaten and how the reindeer food looked. The cookies has several bites out of them, milk was almost gone, and amazingly, a lot of the reindeer food had been eaten AND there was a big reindeer paw-print amongst the reindeer food!!! LJ was so excited!!!
We finally got Evan up (he likes to sleep later!), and he got to find his gifts from Santa.  He was excited to get what he asked for, but then told me that he actually wanted the green Luke Skywalker costume. I told him I don't think we wrote that in his letter to Santa... next year, we will need to be more specific!!

Then LJ took Capi and Evan out to inspect the Reindeer foot print!! Pretty cute!!!
Time to check out the stockings...

Queenie finished Evan's AMAZINGLY beautiful stocking... she does these needle point pieces of art that take her literally years... she finished Evan's this year and gave us in time to have it hanging on Christmas Eve. Pictures really do not do these stockings justice... we will treasure always!!! Love and thank you Queenie!!

Presents time...first one was for both boys from Grandma- a Star Wars Jelly Belly dispenser!
All the boys got new fancy Cowboys' jerseys!
Even Barrett!! No surprise, when I asked the boys what they would like to get their dad, it was quickly decided, "A Cowboys' jersey!!"
Evan got a Lite Bright...He wasn't too excited since he has no idea what it is! But I am excited to do this with him!
Ellie loves her chair- although it will need to be replaced (the cover didn't match the insert!).

 Ellie was very helpful!
LJ got a Magic Tricks set...
Evan had to put his jersey on immediately! He found his last and was on a major search for it!

New slippers and new Crocs from Capi and Gigi...
 Cuddling after the chaos!

Then we headed to Grandad and Queenie's house for 'Round 2'! Santa also goes to their house, and we have a gift exchange with the cousins. We had a lot of leverage before letting the kids go into the room with all the gifts, so we used it get a shot of them! Pretty cute kiddos!!

Then into the living room... where the tree, stockings, and all the gifts are waiting for 8 very excited grandkids (well, maybe 6... 2 little girls may not quite get it yet)!!

First they found their stockings...
They both love their new Star Wars beanies and slinkies!! They actually found a slinky earlier this week and took it / played with it every where until it finally broke- great timing for two new ones!! Thanks Q & G!

And welcome to the chaos! So fun, crazy, and special to watch all these kids get their gifts.

Ellie begging Grandad for her very favorite thing to play with... his glasses!!
 And he gave in!
A few pictures of the unwrapping craziness!!

Happiness!!!

Had to get a few pictures of Ellie and I in our matching PJs!

 Sweet Evan!
LJ and Eagle Jr... doing their superhero thing!
The rest of Christmas was a relaxing day at our house! We played with new toys, finished our Gingerbread man and house, and loved being with each other! Thankful for a very blessed and merry Christmas!

Evan decorated the left side of the house, and LJ the right. Both contributed to all sides of the house and the gingerbread man! I only did the white icing and the gingerbread guy's bow-tie and suspenders! The rest was all boys!
