Idaho August 2015: Part 3 of 3
Thursday- Day 4 of being in Idaho! Had our breakfast and got right to playing!
While Ellie took her morning nap, Queenie and Grandad did gardening and bubbles with the boys while Barrett and I got to go for a run! We had to take the bear bells again, but completed a challenging 4 miles at that altitude!! Can't remember the last time we got to run together- I could barely keep up with Barrett!!
We came home to some happy, bubbly boys!
That afternoon, all the 'Wood Men' went for a fun ride in the mule!!!
While Ellie finished up her nap, Queenie, Grandad and the boys went to go pick up pizza in town. I enjoyed the amazing view and weather on the balcony with a glass of wine! Heaven!!
Then Ellie woke up and joined me in the exersaucer!! Her blond streak is looking more like a patch as her hair grows out!! I love it!
Then I let her crawl around while I got everything in, and she was having too much fun through the glass door!!
She's been very into licking things!
Hahaha!! Sorry about the marks on the glass Queenie! Ellie wanted to leave her mark!
Rough housing with poor Grandad after dinner! Crazy boys!!
Friday we woke up with just enough time to eat breakfast before heading back to Jackson Hole for our flight home! I had to get one good picture before leaving- easy to do here!!
Here's one with me... Can't believe I forgot my selfie stick!!!
Driving ... Ellie is going to miss her seat buddy!!
Headed into the airport...
Evan was back in charge of the green bag...
Good-bye hugs for Queenie and Grandad!
Sometime after all the hugging, we all went to the security line and forgot Evan's green bag! After we got through, we noticed a group of security people hovering over something and in deep discussion... it was Evan's bag!!! OH NO! We caused quite a scare- an unattended 'kids bag' with iPad in it! Sorry Jackson Hole Airport! Guess we should put our 3 year old completely in charge of things!
We had a good lunch in the airport...
Just love the views of the mountains out the airport windows!!
Giving Ellie some final crawls (I disinfected her very well after this!!) before lots of flying time!!
Ellie was SO tired but having a hard time going to sleep! But I love this picture of her hugging on her dad!
I sat next to these two monkeys for a while...
And then Ellie finally fell asleep like this in Barrett's arms! hahah!
His biceps were burning and he couldn't do anything... so I took her, and she slept in my arms for about an hour more. I loved it!
Evan fell asleep shortly after Ellie, and LJ watched a movie and was a perfect angel! As the plane was coming in for a landing, Barrett looked at LJ and said, "Great job man!" and gave him a thumbs up. LJ returned the thumbs up, then seconds later fell asleep... as we were landing!!! Hahah! It was hilarious! So LJ got about a 6 minute nap as we waited to de-board in Dallas!
My big helper pushing Ellie around Dallas airport!
And we made it home after 11 hours of traveling (including our car ride to Jackson Hole)... What a day!!!
Can't thank Queenie and Grandad enough for such a wonderful visit!!! We are a lot to add to any house, but absolutely loved our special time with them in Idaho!!! One month until we have them back in Austin with us again... and the boys have already been asking when we get to go back to Jack Allens!! Love you so much Q & G, and thanks again!!!!
