Mother's Day Celebrations
What a special and spoiled week I had!!!
On Tuesday I picked these two precious things up from Champions:
Then the first celebration (well not including the Chick-fil-a mom-son date knight) was on Wednesday. LJ's class at WHPP had a Mother's Day Tea- and how lucky we were that Gigi came to town late on Tuesday night and was able to join me!!
Since Gigi was there (the only Grandmother in the room!), we got a table all to ourselves... and also LJ had twice the amount of work! He served both Gigi and me our tea/ lemonade, cookies, and fruit snacks!
He made me a very fun necklace and made me a new coffee mug all wrapped up...
I started crying when I read it: "This is the hand you used to hold when I was only 4 years old" with a hand print ned to it!!! How special!!
And a flower for Gigi!!!
This was outside LJ's classroom...
I am chopped liver with these two! Haha!!
We picked up Evan a little early, and caught him playing princess dress-up with all the girls in his class!!! Haha!
Then on Friday, Evan's class had 'Muffins with Mom'... Gigi was still here! Yay! Evan was much more into eating his muffins than serving us though!! In fact, I think he ate all 3 of our muffins!!
And then he opened the gift he made me -including the bag it was wrapped in!! A precious little purple box with his picture on the outside and another when you open it! And inside was a necklace he made me!!! I love it all so much!!!
My two necklaces- left from Evan and right from LJ!!
And then the teachers presented us with a binder full of things from Evan's entire year at school (his first year!). This is a very special thing I will treasure always!!! He and Gigi decided to look through it there (I didn't want to start crying!!).
I love my little Batman!!
Before Gigi left, she and LJ went to the store, and I got some beautiful flowers and chocolates! Thanks you two!!!
And then was actually Mother's Day...
The whole family made it to church, and I got a flower there and this card from Evan:
Ellie in her Mother's Day dress from Gigi... a little princess!! (I think she looks a lot like Barrett in this picture!)
For dinner we got to go to Grandad and Queenie's house to celebrate our amazing Queenie!
Sadly, the only pictures I got from the night were at the very end!! Queenie and her grandchildren (missing the Robinson kids... and with an Evan protesting pictures and trying to escape through Barrett's legs!! Hah!).
I am so incredibly grateful to be blessed as a mother and get to celebrate this day!!! And this is my first year as a mother of THREE! My precious kids mean the world to me, and I can't thank God enough for my family!!
Also, as I realize more every year (and day), I am just so SO thankful for all the awesome mothers I have in my life: I don't know what I would do without your love, support, influence, and help!! Happy happy Mother's Day to each and every one of you special, beautiful women!!!! I love you all!
