LJ's 4th Birthday- And More Celebrating

LJ is officially 4!! Wow has time flown by! We only had a few gifts for him to open, but I set up what we had (with balloons from his party) on the table so he would come downstairs to find it all waiting.

Success- LJ was SO excited to see his little display when he walked down the stairs!
He spotted his Ninja Turtle costumes! I actually bought him 3 different ones (they were on sale!) so he could pick his favorite (since he changes his mind so often), and I will return the other 2.  And glad I did- because he picked Donatello and that was the last one I thought he'd pick!

Of course, he had to put it on right away! And then Evan woke up, so I gave him his Jake the Pirate Halloween costume too (which, also to my surprise as he has been saying he wanted to be Batman, Robin, a Ninja Turtle, etc) he picked as his favorite while we were looking at Target).

I had also made LJ special pancakes- but I think I was more excited about them than he was!
The boys didn't have school since it was Columbus Day (his birthday fell on a Monday this year), but since Evan had been sick the day before, he couldn't be around other kids :(   So Evan had a morning working with Dad, and LJ and I headed to meet his friend Thomas (who has the exact same birthday) at Chuck-E-Cheese  for lunch! LJ was SO excited to go (and poor Evan is still saying he wants to go!).

LJ's favorite 'game' at Chuck-E-Cheese was making these little cards! He made about 15! They were so funny- and he was so funny making them, using different faces, etc.. But then he forgot them all there! These are the only 3 I got a picture of..
Here he is posing for the card picture!

We tried to get a cute picture of the birthday boys- but I think it was too late and they were too tired to get a good one!

Then after naps (which LJ skipped), Grandad and Queenie came by to say happy birthday and give LJ his gifts. This boy sure is spoiled... Thank you SO MUCH Grandad and Queenie for all these amazing gifts! (I love that Grandad has a tissue-paper hat in the back ground! haha!).
LJ showing Dad his gifts!  He was so excited about every one of them!

And of course, Evan thinks all the gifts are his too! He loved every one also!!

 New Batman mask!!

Obnoxious dogs were all over poor Q & G the entire visit!
LJ thanking Queenie for all the amazing gifts!
Few shots of the boys with their Grandad and Queenie... LOVE these!!

And then we had to say good-bye! We skipped Jack Allen's with the family since Evan was just barely 24 hours fever-free. But we still had a fun family dinner night and continued celebrating of little LJ!

And then we ended the night with 'Happy birthday Popsicles' at LJ's request!

On Wednesday, we got to have a quick celebration for LJ with his WHPP class- I brought  cute little ice cream cones for everyone, and they sang to him.
