Champions KDO - First day
This year, the boys will be attending Champions Gymnastics KDO (kids day out) on Tuesdays. It lasts from 9:15 am to 1 pm and is very similar to preschool - but with an added bonus of gymnastic class! They both love the tampoline, foam pit, AirTran, and all the activities they do here, so I feel like this will be an awesome and fun compliment to their regular preschool!
Champions KDO started a week before their other school too- so it was a nice practice week! Other than Champions Gymnastic Camp 2 weeks ago, this will be the first time Evan is dropped off regularly all morning! And this felt much different than the crazy, loud gym we dropped them off for camp at- there are only 2 classes of KDO (a 2 year olds class and a 3-5 year olds class), so it was quiet and empty feeling! Camp drop off had so many kids, stations, and it was loud and chaotic!
Both boys did great at drop off! LJ grabbed a new teachers hand and said, "Bye Mom!" with a smile as she lead him to the mat where the other kids where playing! Yay!
And more exciting news: the McDonnells will be in class with them! Evan's friend Kate and LJ's friend Ben are also at Champions on Tuesdays!
Right to playing with Kate at drop off!
LJ was already busy by the time I put everything away and was leaving! He just said bye again and kept talking to Ben!
And when I picked them up, they were in the same room playing- but not with each other. Since there are only 2 classes, they have snack and lunch time together everyday.
On the way out the door, I asked for one good picture of the boys. For some reason, LJ got very into this- and the pics (all taken in about 1.5 mins) make me laugh!
And of course, little Evan made it about five minutes in the car before passing out! It was a long day- especially with swimming first (we are in our last week of ISR lessons)! But they both say they really like it, and I am so happy they get to go there every week!
