Potty training update
We quickly decided (after throwing away several undies and a weekend of frustration) that we would just let LJ decide when HE was ready for potty training.
So we have had occasional pee pees in the potty, and just not been putting pressure on him.
However, the last month or so, we have been letting him pee off the balcony every day after we swim (thanks to Dylan and Justin for teaching us this). He loves doing it, is so proud of himself, and I really think it has helped him learn the sensation! And he also requests to go pee pee in the potty several times a week - maybe once a day average. This works especially well when I let him roam around the house naked! But then he gets a little too excited about doing it, and after the first successful pee pee, he will keep coming up to me saying "Mama, I have to pee again!!!" We will run back to the toilet, and nothing! Over and over!
Either way, small improvements, and much less stress for all!
