Celebrating our 4th Anniversary!

My incredible husband and I celebrated (and are still celebrating!) our 4th wedding anniversary on Wednesday. This date also marks our 6th year together, as we were married on our two year 'dating' anniversary! A few quick memories from 4 years ago today....

I am truly blessed to have married a man who is my best friend, I laugh with constantly, learn from daily, and that I can say I love more- and am more amazed by- everyday.

As any one who has stayed with us knows, he works hard all day so that I am able to 'stay home' with our little monkeys, then he tries to always be home in time to eat dinner with us (and often helps make it!). And THEN he helps me by either cleaning up the kitchen or bathing the boys.... this way we get to just spend quality time together from about 8 pm on (when the boys go to sleep). After the kitchen and boys are clean, we play and read together as a family, and then he always puts LJ to sleep. AND if LJ ever gets up in the middle of the night, Barrett is the one who goes to put him back to sleep. He is the most hands-on, helpful, and wonderful husband and dad ever!! Thank you Barrett- for always being so wonderful to me, and for all you do!!

As usual, after we agreed on keeping gifts small and inexpensive, a got a knock on the door early that afternoon with not one, but TWO of the MOST beautiful flower arrangements (and super cool vases) I've ever seen!

Since our babysitter is out of town, we headed to dinner with the whole family to celebrate the day!!
Cheers- time! Poor LJ really wanted some!
"Where's my food?!"
Ready to try some BBQ!
Very busy coloring and playing cars...
LJ trying (and succeeding) to make Evan laugh!
We went outside to enjoy the view.... I asked LJ to push the button here- his face cracks me up!

My turn to take the picture so LJ can focus on his smile!!
Group hug!
Barrett and I laughed at dinner thinking about how we would NEVER have believed that in four years, we would be sitting at County Line, five minutes from house (second house) in Austin, with our two boys having dinner to celebrate! Wow!!! It has been an unbelievable - and very full 4 years... but we have loved every minute and feel blessed beyond belief. Looking forward to so many more adventures together!!

I also was tagged in a very sweet Facebook message from my thoughtful husband (who beat me to it!) with a few random/ fun pictures.  For those not on Facebook, I thought I'd share what he posted:
