A wonderful visit from Aunt Patsy!

My precious Aunt Patsy came to visit us this week to meet Evan and play with LJ- it was so wonderful having her here!
Just got here and already handling both boys!
Evan obviously had no problem feeling very comfortable with his Aunt!
And LJ didn't either!

Not much personal space at our house!
Started out Thursday with a little photo-op for Evan's 1st month and LJ's 23rd month bdays! 



Then met Uncle Joe for our tradition- lunch at Firehouse Subs!






 And we sat on the porch (well, I sat while Aunt Patsy and LJ ran around) and enjoyed the cool and rainy weather for a while in the evening.


Friday was another fun day!

Went back to Trampoline Park on Sunday... LJ has gotten so much better and more confident - guess all the practice time on his little trampoline is paying off! Still so much fun for Dad...  And the Mamas finally get in on all the fun!  Last time we went I was VERY pregnant and couldn't jump... but not this time! Easter Celebrations, 2017

We had a full week of celebrating Easter this year, and we really enjoyed ever part of it!  Our first event was our very favorite annual egg hunt at the McDonnell's house! We always start with a group shot of the kids as before they take off and start hunting (the only time we have true leverage!!)! What a cute group!  Ellie is bottom right corner, Evan is all the way right, 2 kids above Ellie, and LJ is back row 3rd from left! Ellie's faces crack me up!   Silly faces!   And the hunt is on!      Trying to keep Ellie hunting and not just opening each egg was quite a task!    Post-hunt: we sit and sort through all the treasured prizes found in the eggs!    Confetti egg time! Boys' Fall Sports 2016- Flag Football

The Undefeated Greenbay Packers! We found an awesome flag football coach through Neighborhood Sports. We met him at church one day, and he said he would make sure we got on his team if we wanted ... and we did!!! It was a Pre-K/ Kinder team, so both boys were able to play together! Evan was definitely the youngest on the team (and the most work for the coaches), but both boys really loved it.  Our team was the Greenbay Packers! Shout out to my cousin Ron!!!  We had two practices a week the week leading up to our first game, and then we had Friday evening practices and Saturday morning games. Unfortunately, this over-lapped with some T-ball games (which only LJ was playing), so LJ had to miss 2 football games this season.  The team got their picture taken early in the season, so the boys got theirs together and the team shot is below! Our first practices were SO hot! I was sweating just sitting there watching them!  Coach BB and Evan.....
