October 2015 Randoms

Oct 1- it was a full day to start out the month!! Ellie is already 49 weeks!

Charley turned 1 the night before, and had her party at Hat Creek on Thursday!! I can't believe she is one!!! Ellie got to sit next to her bestie!
Sang blowing bubbles for all the kids!
Kids table (with Julie!)

We are trying to get her to stand... she gets nervous as soon as you let her go and drops!

These cuties!! When I said it was time to go, they (all on their own) said, "One Two Three.. SUPERHEROES!!!!" Hilarious!

Ellie has officially outgrown her infant car seat and is now in a covetable (still rear facing!).

Evan got a new carseat too!! He is now in a carseat like LJ's... similar to a booster with a back. He now sits more upright and has cup-holders... very exciting stuff happening in my minivan!!!
Ellie playing peek-a-boo before bath time!

On Friday, the boys finally got a much needed hair cut!
The other exciting news from Oct 1... .Queenie and Grandad are BACK in Austin!! We didn't get to see them until Saturday- but so happy to have them so close again!!

Saturday Evan, Ellie and I went to the Farmer's Market to see Queenie and the girls... it was short but fun! I love Ellie's hair today... it's lying flat for some reason and looks so cute!
And we got to see the Benzon girls! It has been a long time!!

Our second favorite isle at Target has become the Halloween isle! LJ begs to go there after the toy isle, and he insists I take a picture of him in all the masks so he can see what he looks like!! Haha! Some of these are pretty scary!

Evan participates too!!!

Craft time!
Every day is a good day to be Batman!
Jack Allens... Mmmm! Cousins teaching Evan a new iPad game...
Tramp time with my monkeys!

Sang and Charley joined us at the gym... so happy to have our partners back!!
Brothers loving their new Spiderman pjs from Gigi!!
Sister in the middle!

Aunt Sara is in town... Yay!!!  She hasn't seen Ellie since she was 1 hour old!

Ellie is almost a year, so we have been starting to introduce whole milk (so we can eventually get off formula). She drinks it well out of a straw cup cold.... although she doesn't drink a ton (like she drinks formula out of a bottle). This is our nanny Jaime giving her milk! We love Jaime - and more importantly the kids LOVE her! She has been with us almost 8 months now!
Aunt Sara brought LJ a gift! Thank you!!
The whole family is back at church!!! Barrett has been taking the boys every week, but Ellie and would usually stay home because her morning nap fell right in the middle of the only service option. But Ellie is finally able to skip her morning nap sometimes, so we have been joining the boys! Ellie has done great in the church nursery, and we are happy to get to see our dear friends the Cookes (Monica and James below).  I am so proud of how involved in our church Barrett has become also. He volunteers regularly, attends small groups and Bible studies, and has developed so many great relationships there. He is truly leading our family - such an amazing man!!!
Gigi got the boys new Batman shirts... and they both wanted to wear them the next day! Yay! Matching on their own accord!!! Love!
Never an unsafe moment around the Wood house!! These are probably the same costumes we will see them in on Halloween (bday gifts from Queenie & Grandad), but they wear them all the time!!!

Breakfast... boys love their new cups from Piper!
Ellie loves... well, everything!
LJ couldn't wear his entire Flash costume to school, so he went with just the mask!!

Our for a walk with our friends!

Weather is cooling off, and it feels good to be outside!

These precious shirts.... and girls!!! Love!!

LJ's friend Thomas (that has the exact same birthday) celebrated his birthday the weekend after the 13th (LJ did the weekend before!) at Chuck E Cheese. And Evan was invited too!

We got to enjoy a cool fundraiser for Dell Children's Trust.... Evan is obsessed with wearing his new Batman socks (that are actually meant for a 10 year old! The heels are in the middle of his calf! But he loves them!).
I can't remember if he's ever had cotton Candy before... not a huge fan today!

Barrett, Mark, and kids playing bean bag toss... Ben was so good!!! Love his running toss!
There were all these precious 5 week old (I think) cocker spaniel puppies! LJ loved holding them (and so did I!).

Our kids got tickets to vote on what items they would like provided for kids in the hospital. The boys put most their tickets in Superhero figurines, Legos, and Bubbles!

 Pony rides!

Third child learning how to slide!
 Evan is dying to help!!

 LJ.... climbing a roof
 Ellie Grace!
 Where's your tongue??

Vivo chips!!! She's a fan already!

Ellie opening gifts from her party... loving the precious clothes from Grandad and Queenie!!!

A girl and her Grandad!! She LOVES him!!!

Ellie sporting her new fur vest from Queenie... not much I can stand about this!!

Thursday Oct 22... our last weekly photo!!! And I think the first one/only where she is standing alone (well she is leaning on the wall a little, but close!)!

And the next day she was her birthday!! 12 months! It took two days to get a good photo!

LJ went to my dentist appointment with me one day... he was such a perfect boy- sat on a blanket and played with his toys half the time and on his iPad the other half!
These three very different little angels!

The rest of the month was basically Halloween...! Where did October go!
