February 2015 Month Overview

What a full month- were there really only 28 days!? It was a good- but also rough- month over here! We had a lot of fun- but were also sick a lot! I got a stomach bug on the 2nd that lasted exactly 24 hours -but wiped me out! Then I got a cold and slowly passed it to everyone else in the house (LJ, Barrett, and even poor Ellie- her first sickness :( BUT somehow Evan missed it)- so we were sick for 2 weeks with that, and then the last week of the month LJ got another stomach bug that Barrett and I had a little fight with as well! UGH! Looking forward to and praying for a healthier March!

But let's focus on the fun we had....

An LJ original pic.... he still enjoying taking pictures with my phone!
Ellie and her pre-bed tummy time...
This is what happens to Ellie's hair if I don't comb it down IMMEDIATELY after bathing her! After seeing Granny last weekend and talking about crazy hair, I wanted to see if hers would still stick up if not combed right away- YES is the answer!!! Granny - this is for you to see too!!!
Had the McDonnells over to watch the Superbowl and got all the kids to sing happy birthday to Aunt Funny...
Evan asked to hold sweet Charley, and LJ had to give Ellie extra love! We love babies around here!
My friend Tiffani was in town for a quick trip, so we got to have a fun girls' lunch (and she got to meet Ellie!!!).
Love my CTank girlfriends! !!!
Ellie in her precious Gap outfit from the Mentzes! Too cute!
Love this picture!
Donuts and Dudes with Evan's Class at WHPP... Barrett and Grandad went!  Grandad went alone to LJ's last year, so it was very special to have him again for Evan's turn! Thanks Grandad!

Making a Valentine's Day craft together...
Got Ellie's jumperoo out... She is a little small for it (feet don't quite touch the ground) but she will stay in there for a few minutes! Hope she ends up loving this thing as much as the boys (especially Evan!).
She is out-growing her 3 month clothes!

Ellie with her bestie- Charley!!! Love!

I can't tell you how often I find random pictures like this on my phone! haha!!
Ellie's first bath upstairs in the boys' tub (with Evan tonight). Since we moved her bedtime earlier, it will be easier/ necessary to bath them at the same time so then we can get them all to bed! Evan was very excited to have her in there with him (she is in her little tub and he is in the big tub).

And then as soon as Ellie got out, Evan had to get in her little bath! Haha!

Puzzles before bed with dad!

Capi and Gigi came for a visit!! They got here just in time to see Ellie before she went to bed!
And then do another puzzle with LJ!
Out and about with Ellie!
Kisses from Gigi at the 'Talking Cow' place!
Boys enjoying a little warm weather....
Movie night with the kids! Watching Frozen...

Gigi and Capi hanging with their grandkids...

Unswaddled in her pac-n-play...
This was outside LJ's classroom at pick up.... They had a Man in Your Life night last week that Barrett took LJ too- music and snacks in the classroom... LJ and Barrett had a great time (think it complemented the Donuts and Dudes event for Evan's age group)...

My amazingly sweet and generous friend Aryn gave Ellie a TON of her daughter Eve's old clothes... We just can't thank her enough!!! We are having so much fun seeing Ellie in all these cute things!!!

Another Thursday... my sleeping beauty!

I always have a hard time picking my favorite picture from the day!

Since the boys don't have school on Thursdays, Barrett took them to an early boys' breakfast at Kirby Lane... Mmmmm!

Then we finally went to get them their haircuts! It has been way too long! Ellie took a nap for most of the haircut...

LJ went first... wow look at all that hair!
Evan played with trains and watched LJ's movie until his turn...

 Back to clean cut!
Thursday night we made it to an Event for the American Heart Association that my friend Christine was involved in and where our dear friend Cory Morrow played... Love all these girls so much! It was a much needed night out for me!

Friday the 13th ... Valentine's Day gifts and celebrations at the boys' school....
A picture frame from Evan....
Awe- Evan said he'd give me a Vday kiss!!
And a picture from LJ... Love this!

LJ's class had an ice-cream party that I got to go to! LJ picked chocolate ice cream with a LOT of red sprinkles!!!
Love their Vday outfits Gigi- thank you for sending them!!!

Evan especially LOVED his 'Pirate shirt' for his Valentine's Day PJ Party (it says "I Steal Hearts!).
This little monkey is 2.5 years old today!
Another one of LJ's impressive Lego creations... he did tis one all by himself during quiet time...
Pre-bath time tummy time...
The boys love snuggling in our bed!!
And of course, cuddles with their sisters! These boys are obsessed!!!
Enjoying a beautiful Saturday morning in a park!!
Evan always hoping LJ will play football with him! He is always holding a football!

And then we went to pick out our new trampoline... Capi and Gigi are buying us a trampoline to replace the little one they bought us a few years ago (that still in it's beat up condition gets almost daily use!)... So our new one will be big enough for the entire family.... this is too exciting!!!
We all got to test it out...

The place also had a lot of playscapes for sale, so we just stayed there and played for a while! It was great!
 This girl's 1st Vday!

Sunday morning LJ informed us that he had an ear infection and needed to miss church and go to the doctor! He was never upset about this, just matter-of-fact! When I saw him pulling on his ear a little while later, I knew he was probably right! He didn't have a fever, but he had a cold the week before so an ear infection following a cold is very probable!

I got this cute photo from Barrett while they were waiting for the doctor!
Sunday night, Ellie got to spend some time way up high.... her first shoulder ride from dad!!!
Monday our new trampoline arrived... Yay!!! It is so wonderful! We just can't thank you enough Capi and Gigi (for our Christmas, birthday, Valentine's day, and Easter gift!!!).

Ellie's hair is long enough for pig tails- so I had to try it!! Haha! But maybe not super flattering yet!

More lego time... he is currently obsessed and takes his legos every where- we love it!

Love seeing what he comes up with!

Keeping warm at while we drop the boys off at school!

Ellie enjoys her bouncy seat! We have it upstairs so she sits there before or after bath time while I get the boys dressed a lot of the time, while reading with all the kids, or while I am folding/ putting away clothes or cleaning up there! She's very happy there!
And she is getting more used to and happy with her jumperoo!

We still have her nap nanny out, but she is starting to roll around a little too much for it to feel safe so we will probably be putting it away soon!

She really likes her play mat though, and stays entertained on there for a long time!

I love that LJ uses all the idea books that comes with the legos to build the things! He really will sit there and work on these for 1-2 hours!

LJ started his martial arts class on Saturdays, and he loves his uniform so much he will wear it the rest of the day! He and Barrett go together. Today (Feb 21) was his first official class (they did a trial a while ago but signed up today). Updates to come! Then we met Queenie, Grandad, Kate, and Lauren for Vivo lunch... we had to ride on these fun statues while we waited for everyone to get there!
Cousin time!

Now for some silly poses!!

Sweet little face waking up as we are running errands! I love how happy she is when she wakes up!

Boys keeping me company as I get ready in the morning!
More jumping time!! It has been way to rainy or cold since we got our new tramp!

Look who's FOUR months!!! We had a well check for her and Evan today- but I will do a separate post on that!

LJ had a stomach bug, and while I was pretty sure he was over it, I kept him home from school an extra day. Had to run to the store though as we were out of food- and this was how my little shopping partner dressed himself!
 And my other shopping partner!

No school on Thursdays, and Ellie needed a good morning nap (which is best if we stay home), so we had to do something to get our energy out! Pretty cold... but warm enough if your jumping!!! Since Ellie was asleep, I got to jump with them for a while- so fun!! And I must say, jumping up high and looking down into a canyon really takes your breath away!!

They are having so much fun on this thing!
Ellie practicing to join her brothers on the big tramp!

The boys get very excited when Ellie has tummy time now and love to come join her!

I think she likes the company!!

These two are 4 years, 10 days apart... amazing what happens in 4 years!!! (Evan has been protesting being in pictures lately- but I hope to get one of the 3 of them soon!).
 Another precious outfit from Eve!
Practicing her sitting... she has about 2 seconds now!
Boys making their own sandwiches... my job as lunch maker is done!
This precious boy floating in his bath! He LOVES bath time so much- and was actually doing great floats!!
And floating with his mohawk! He actually let me take his picture tonight!
