Aunt Patsy Visits!
We were so so blessed and happy to have Aunt Patsy come visit us for a few days! She arrived on Tuesday morning with just enough time for us to grab our traditional Firehouse subs before picking LJ up from school!
LJ was so excited to see her at pick up! He came racing up to show her something he'd made that day!
Wednesday we met Queenie for lunch at Luby's! Delicious and so fun to catch up!
Evan is playing peek-a-boo the whole time I am trying to get a good picture! Ha!
Wednesday evenings we usually host a group of couples/ kids from our church at our house, but this week most attendees canceled. We took advantage of the smaller group and decided to go out to dinner instead! It was a wonderful evening with just five of us- including Aunt Patsy- and such a fun night out.
Got home and had to take a picture of Calcy watching TV for Tio Sergio (Aunt Patsy's husband). He loves this dog and her TV obsession as much as Aunt Patsy loves babies! It is really funny though!
And a hug from Calcy to dad!
And all too quickly our visit is over... BUT not quite yet! We decided to keep the fun going and fly back to El Paso with Aunt Patsy! So Thursday morning, we went right from picking LJ up at school to the airport!
Singing in the backseat as we drive there!
LJ was SO excited to go on the airplane and to El Paso! He told everyone in his class about it, and his teachers told me he wouldn't stop talking about how he "was going straight to the airport from school and onto an airplane and to El Paso!"
Trying to keep the boys entertained before boarding...
The flight was completely full, unfortunately, so it was a tight arrangement! I only bought LJ a seat so Evan was technically a 'lap baby' - good luck with a 14 month old 'lap baby' that just learned to walk and is ready to GO! We got a whole row for the 4 of us- but it was a lot of work!! I bought LJ Finding Nemo to watch on the iPad. This was good for about 45 minutes, but not the whole flight!
Evan- entertainment via food!!!
And after a long hour and half flight - that I COULD NOT have done without my aunt- we arrived in El Paso! Tio and Gigi were both there waiting for us to arrive, and Gigi had a pretty cute Halloween light up head band on too!
Evan walking with Tio and Aunt Patsy!
Aunt Patsy- thank you so much for such a full, fun, uplifting visit! We love you and our special time together! And thanks for sacrificing a calm and relaxing flight home to fly with us!! Please come back soon!!!

Buddy bucks time! Evan is starting to get the concept!Wednesday we met Queenie for lunch at Luby's! Delicious and so fun to catch up!
