As if being a mother to my two precious little boys isn't enough, I got some very special gifts this year too, including my FIRST handmade mother's day gifts from my own child!
LJ made me a Mother's Day pot at school and picked the flowers to plant in it himself- I could tell he picked the flower because it was orange (his current favorite!)! All the paint on the pot is from LJ's finger prints!
I loved the idea so much, I repeated it - well a similar version- for other moms in our family! Only ours were a little less organized- we went for lots of color with LJ and Evan's hands and feet prints covering the pots...

Patiently playing with paint as he waits for his turn... |

Finished products... |
And my amazing husband surprised me with this beautiful David Yurman bracelet on Mother's Day (well actually LJ brought it to me all wrapped up!) ...
|
Beautiful - and blue for our 2 boys! |
|
My new bracelet looks great with the two others he bought me for graduation and my birthday over 5 years ago! |
And then our nanny Karinna worked on this precious gift for me with LJ... he brought it to me this week and made my day- again!
Karinna told me that LJ actually said all the things she put on his hand cut-outs! She would ask "What else do you love when that your mommy does?" until she got enough answers! Makes me tear up even now! So cute!!! Thanks Karinna- I LOVE this!

Hands say: Plays games with me, Reads to me, Loves me, Takes me places, Swims with me, and Gives me hugs |
And I got 2 beautiful and very special cards in the mail- from my amazing mom and wonderful Queenie... What a truly blessed Mother's Day I have had... thank you all so much!!! I love all the incredible mothers in my life more than I can say!!!
