Nitro Swim Lessons & another park!
Now that we have Tuesday and Thursday mornings free, we are able to do more activities with the boys! So this week, they started at Nitro Swim School, Capital Gymnastics, and Soccer-zone (which is actually on Saturdays). They were so excited about every activity, and both did very well (I will post more about each one)!!
Swim was the first new activity we started, and they were so ready to get into that pool! They got new goggles (required for the class) and were being so silly as they waited for their lesson!
LJ asked for this picture!
Ellie was her crazy self! Busy, going through my purse and bag, and cheering her brothers on!!
The boys had their own instructor (the ratio will always be no more than 3 kids to an instructor!). They basically go through a check list of 10 skills (called stations) they must master before moving onto the next level class (they are in Nitro 1 right now). Station 10 is 20 yards doing backstroke and 20 yards of freestyle rolling to catch a breath! I like this style of benchmarks, and hope the boys do well!
Trying to keep this one entertained for 30 minutes... wow, was that only 30 minutes!?!
Modeling the boys' new robes!
Water break!
Diving!!
On day one, LJ got through the first 5 stations, and Evan got through the first 3! And they can't wait to go back! Good job boys!
After swim we headed to a new park for lunch and playground time! We only got about 45 minutes before the rain got us, but it was fun! We had the whole playground to ourselves (which actually did not make the boys happy! They want friends around!).
Teetering!
Swinging....
Sliding time...
