Vivo is actually a few minutes closer to our new house than our old one, so we always try to make our Saturday morning visit with Queenie and Grandad!! We will sure miss them in a few weeks! Ellie has been a little challenging at meals... thankfully she has many laps to welcome her!
Barrett took Evan and Ellie to Academy for a little golfing while LJ and I unpacked the POD one day!
Ellie loves the trampoline as much as her brothers!!
And she loves coloring!!! She really gets into it!
This is our 'waiting rock'! The boys run down the trail behind our house, and can only go as far as the 'waiting rock' without us. Then they have to wait for us to get there before moving on! They are great at stopping there :)
Side note: I no longer have ANY control over their outfits... they dress themselves (often many times) every day. And guess what- they love matching themselves!!! How exciting for me!!!
Smoothy cheers...
Barrett dressed Ellie today, and I just couldn't stand how cute she looked! And my goodness, smoothies make them happy!!!
Trying on hats with my favorite little shopping partner at Costco!
Picking up her brothers at school... love her new little dress from Benzons.
On nights the boys are good, we let them watch 20- 30 mins of a movie in the media room after Ellie has gone to sleep (or sometimes she gets to watch some too). We initiated the room with the new Star Wars! It took about a week to get through, but the boys LOVED every minute!!! So fun!
Gigi and Grandma have spoiled us with precious new outfits for Ellie's new size! Love this one!
Our friends, the Cooks, over for dinner. Love having the kids eat at the bar!
Sweet James!
Playing in the yard!
The boys dress themselves completely- every day!! Evan often comes down in the morning fully dressed, and LJ usually runs back up after breakfast. But everyday, everything from their undies to their socks (which is a huge deal with them! Must have long socks!), is their own pick!
And now, all they will wear is 'sport' clothing (that cool-dry material). Well, Evan will still wear his jerseys some days.
Ben grew out of some Underarmor clothing, and passed it along to Evan... but LJ decided he could still fit in some of it too! Haha! So here is our thank you picture to Ben, with both boys wearing Ben's hand-me-downs!! Thanks Ben!
One rainy Saturday night, we had a family outing to a new delicious pizza place!! You can build-your-own pizza, and we all loved ours!!
We had a fun play date (and our first with friends from the boys' new school) at Catch Air when school got canceled due to heavy rain.
Ellie had fun too!
Huge slide!
As long as they agree to look this cute for a smoothie, I am taking the picture!
Poor Ellie fell out of my car and onto the pavement after I changed her diaper in the Costco parking lot one day. It was awful!! Thankfully, she just had a big scrape on her forehead and little one on her nose, and she got over it very quickly. I, however, wanted to cry for a few days!!
Selfie with LJ...
Scab on her forehead is not phasing her at all!!!
We took our evening walk a little farther from the house one night at the beautiful Brushy Creek park right across the street from our subdivision. There is a trail around the lake, playground, splash pad, etc! This was my first time to explore it!
Dinner at Z Tejas with Grandad and Queenie....
Everyone says Evan is my twin... but I think Queenie may be a closer match!! The eyes and the lips!
And Gigi joined us!!!! Yay!!!!
Love!!!
I thought everyone was sleeping in... they were actually all just already in bed with Gigi! Haha!
Ellie and Gigi cuddling while the boys swim!
Evening play time in the yard!
First a little soccer...
Practicing golf...
Celebrating at Jack's birthday party...
Ellie in a precious Eve-hand-me-down suit! Too cute!!
Three monkeys on a bathroom break!
"Ellie, give me your paci!"
Just LOVE this new watermelon dress from Gigi!!! Thanks again!
Touring houses for fun! These kids have no trouble making themselves at home! Hah!
Boys got right to shuffle board!
Enjoying Sam's birthday party at the Austin Nature Center on Sunday afternoon. Boys asked for a picture in the dinosaur bones!
Boys in heaven with precious Piper over for a play date!!!
Ellie got ahold of my lip gloss and put it on her lips... and all over her face!
Ellie is getting close to being able to put on her own shoes (she often does it but usually puts the wrong greet on). But she also loves putting on everyone elses shoes and wearing them around the house!
She does a surprisingly well job walking in them!
We ventured out to another nearby park right by our house- the workout park!
The Elliptical!
I jumped off this elliptical thing to get Ellie (who was walking too close behind) and the foot thing came back and hit me in the shin!!! OMG- SO painful! I had a huge bump (like the size of another knee cap!) that is still there (month later).
Barrett doing pulls up!
We are settling in and enjoying our new neighborhood. Can't believe we have been here almost 2 months already!
