Ellie at 3 months
At 3 months (13 wks), we are starting to see a real schedule! Bedtime has been moved (~11 weeks) to 7:30 pm, and she usually sleeps (with 1-2 wakings) until 7 or 8 am.
- Sleeping one longer stretch (5-7 hrs typically with occasionally an 8-9 hour stretch or only 3-4 hr nights)
- Longest stretch was 9.5 hrs, and she has always done at least 3 hrs.
- great napper also! Starting around 2 months, we were able to get her long afternoon nap timed up with the boys - at least some of it- so there is usually at least an hour of 'everybody down' time! Not always- but amazing when it happens!
- She's getting more reliant on her paci!
- She now goes right back to sleep after middle of the night nursing. It used to take her over an hour the first couple months, to about an hour, to 40 minutes, and now we are 20-30 minutes max and back in bed!
Here is her home naps and bedtime routine: feed, read Goodnight Moon, swaddle her tight, sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and put her down in pac and play awake with a paci. She usually puts herself to sleep without a fuss. Sometimes we have to re-insert paci, but overall she is awesome!!

9/10 wk She moved to pac n play versus rock and play
-First hour long nap in crib
11 wks we moved the pac and play into my closet so she could have quiet privacy while sleeping (but not be across the house and up stairs!). She's done well in there!
Eating:
All breast milk until 10+ weeks introduced formula! She hated first taste, but got over it quickly and now drinks it happily! Around 11 weeks we started doing at least one bottle of formula most days (often the last one before bed), and the rest either bottles of breast milk or if I am home, I'll nurse. I am not a good 'public nurser' so I try to pump and give bottles if we will be out and about- much less stressful for me.
