Memories from the Week

We had a fun and full week... here are some memories!

Monday:
We had a quick visit from Gigi!! Yay! We had dinner at a place called Chinatown. I remember eating there often when I was growing up and living here, but it closed before I moved back for college. Then it re-opened a few weeks ago- exact same place as when I grew up! Had a great meal, and the boys are excited to go back when the Budda is there (which I mistakenly promised they'd see!).
And Uncle Joe joined us- was so fun!

Ice cream dessert always means having to be patient when the boys want to run around after dinner!
Had to attempt a few shots of the family (wish B could be in it to) since it's been a while!

Love Gigi so much and so happy we got a day with her (she was off to the airport from dinner)!!

Tuesday morning breakfast with my happy little Evan! LJ has been sleeping a little later than Evan most mornings (probably because he usually skips naps so sleeps a full 12 hours or more at night), so Evan and I usually have about 30 mins alone in the mornings! He almost always wakes up happy and I sure enjoy his little face and our quality time! (I get similar quality time with LJ while Evan takes his 2 hour naps in the afternoon! LJ will have an hour quiet time then come hang out with me!).

Evan at his 2 Year Well Check- before the shots!

Evan and I had a lunch date after his appointment since we had just under an hour before needing to get LJ from school.

Took the boys to get some new shoes for school ... they have a little too much fun  together sometimes! They make each other laugh so much and are constantly copying each other (mostly Evan copying LJ- but sometimes the other way too!).
 Wednesday:
Boys LOVE their new pjs from Gigi. They are both yelling 'Skeletons!!' in the pictures below!

Thursday mornings I get the boys - no school! So we headed to the gym and had our smoothies (which they INSIST on after playing!).
And then got them much needed haircuts! They both did great! LJ, who has been obsessed with Ninja Turtles lately, finally got to watch a little of the movie while getting his cut. He was so excited!

Evan really needed a hair cut too! Here is a before pic...

All done! Look at those handsome, happy boys!!

I gave in and let them pick out a little Batman toy since they were so good all morning... And I used it to get a cute picture of them!
LJ asked for me to take this picture! He was posing....

Both boys want to jump on the trampoline all the time- and both are getting so good! Think we need to get a bigger one soon (or at least fix this one up- all the foam is falling off the poles!).

 Friday:
Barrett headed to El Paso for the weekend (he left Thursday) so I took a few extra pictures to send to him throughout the weekend.

Silly boys at breakfast...

Evan always like to wear his backpack when leaving school! Yay- one less thing for me to carry!
Met some friends for dinner on Friday night. Had the great idea of heading to Mandola's so our kids could play on the play ground while we ate... but as we pulled up it started raining on us! Since we had promised the play ground, we ended up letting the boys play in the rain for about 30 minutes. They had so much fun!
LJ making a silly face in the rain!
The boys picking out their gelato flavors ...
 Happy little monkeys!

LJ made this art work, then found tacks in my closet and hung it up all by himself.  He was so excited to show me!
 Saturday:
Shopping at Target has become a whole new adventure!

Celebrating Connealy's birthday at Champions.  These boys love their trampolines.

A quick video of Evan jumping...

Blowing up the AirTran...
LJ was so excited to see and play with his cousin Eagle Jr... it had been while!

 Time to run down it!!
Four precious cousins eating next to each other... LJ, Eagle Jr, Evan, Locke...

Cookie eating and more of LJ posing for the camera!

Bath time fun!

Boys jumping in their pjs Sunday morning.
Evan insisted on sitting on his potty, telling me he had to poop. He does this often.  He will sit there for a couple minutes, and then say, "All done!" ... But he has not successfully gone yet (ever)! He does look cute though! Haha!

Headed to the gym on Sunday since I was alone with the boys... and of course smoothies were insisted upon!

Evan's Blue's Clues balloon still alive and making him smile almost a month later!!

Headed to Whole Foods for a little shopping, dinner with Uncle Joe, and play ground time...

Sliding together!

Boys were having so much fun playing... and then poor Evan fell down these stairs and hit his head on the pavement...
Sad little man...
But he quickly recovered and wanted to get back to playing! Tough!

Checking out the view into the store with Uncle Joe!
Both boys insisted on holding Uncle Joe's hand every chance they got! They love their Uncle!

Videos we made for Barrett while away-
