Flying to El Paso

We had our first flight as a family of 4 today... And I must say it went great! This was Evan's first time in an airplane!
We left a pretty cold Austin to go to an even colder El Paso- so LJ was bundled up with his lion hat and all! And this was our first time using his 'monkey bag pack'... Or leash! Years ago I remember seeing kids on a leash and judging parents- I am sorry to those parents!!! This thing worked so well- and our boy is safe! Totally worth it!

Evan ready to board the flight...

He drank a bottle during take off, and then took a 30 min nap!

LJ was happy to be sitting with dada (they were in the row right behind Evan and me)! And he was so cute talking all about the airplane.... "Are those the wings?" "Are those the flaps?" Are we on runway 9?" "Are we ready to take off?". He has a great airplane book where he has learned many of these terms- Barrett and I were so impressed -and cracking up!!

Eating snacks and talking!

Then Evan woke up -a little out of sorts but happy as usual!

Loves his octopus (thanks Sang!)

LJ was very into a movie or something on Barrett's iPad!

Stretching boys! They look like brothers! LJ got his paci to help clear his ears (especially since they have some fluid in them).

Evan fussed for about 3 minutes right when we were landing, but that was it! Hopefully we have another great flyer here! And the only time LJ complained was while waiting to get off the plane at the gate- he was ready to go find Gigi!
In the airport- excited to be in El Paso with Gigi!
