Christmas Morning

LJ slept very well the night before Christmas, and woke up very happy. Barrett went to get him out of bed, and then we waited until Queenie and Grandad got to our house to bring him downstairs to see what Santa brought!

A video of the moment he comes downstairs...

Santa knew that he was getting some wonderful gifts from his amazing grandparents this year, so he was pretty modest on LJ's gifts at our house! Just a few- but for weeks now LJ had been saying (maybe after a little coaching from mom) that he wanted Santa to bring him Thomas the Train... and sure enough, Thomas and Percy were under the tree!

Gifts before LJ came down (also a sleep owl not in the picture)
Here they come!
"Wow, look at all those gifts from Santa LJ!"

LOVES his trains!

And  a little lap top.. . maybe he'll leave mine alone now!

A giraffe! Not intended to ride but didn't stop LJ from trying!

Seeing if Santa ate his cookies and drank the milk...

And then off to Queenie and Grandad's house for more celebrating!

Ready to go into the living room and see what gifts await!

A tricycle!!! He couldn't get on it fast enough...

Until he noticed the CAT trucks!

Asking Uncle Dan to open his tractors...
He found his pilot hat! This might be my favorite!
Kate and Lauren- looking so cute!

And then he had to ride in his wagon....
The wagon quickly became a favorite too... first for LJ to be in, and then for ALL his presents to be in, and then for him AND all his presents! LOVES!!

Kate proving that she can still fit on the tricycle at 8 years old!

A cool new plane...

and helicopter...

more planes....  One lucky kiddo!! What an amazing Christmas!

Evan taking a snooze through all the excitement...
This is a whole train set - LJ LOVES it (although he didn't know how much he loved it until  we opened it at home)

Evan finally woke up and joined the party - and loves his new octopus!
Thank you for a wonderful wonderful Christmas!!
