We got a 3D/4D ultrasound of Evan today! The sonographer said he was in the perfect position, and everything looked great. Aunt Patsy, Lori, Brianna, and Tricia Ann joined Barrett and I in the room, and Queenie and Grandad streamed in and listened/ watched on the computer for the 20 minute session.
I will be 31 weeks tomorrow, so Evan is
probably around 4 pounds. He is head down in my belly with his spine running along my right side, bottom up, and legs folded down my left side. And he is facing out (which LJ never did for us!). Will be nice if he stays in this position and just moves down as we approach delivery day. And quick update on delivery- we are scheduling a c-section for August 13, but if I go into labor before this date, I will try for a natural birth!
We got over 40 pictures, but here are some of my favorites...

The sonographer had to work with him to get his little hand down... but I love his little fingers! His foot is also in this photo in the bottom left corner (he is all tucked up). |
|
Moved his arm down and is grabbing underneath is legs... He had plenty of room to stretch out, but prefers to be all tucked up like this! |
|
The umbilical cord was in front of his face for many shots..

Looks a little creepy, but his eyes are actually open in this shot! |
And just for fun, here are some 3D pictures of LJ at 27 weeks in utero to compare.
I feel excited just by watching this shots... if im feeling this way I can't imagine how you feel as parent...
