McKenna Children's Museum

We had no plans one Wednesday morning, so we decided to join our friends on a little adventure and drive out to the McKenna Children's Museum in New Braunfels. So glad we did! The kids had so much fun!
Evan and Kate jumped into pretend play immediately as they boated down the river...
It was actually hard to get Ellie to walk away from the turtle aquarium! All the kids loved it, but Ellie was obsessed! Hah!

There was a big pretend rocketship and astronaut costumes... this is where I lost Evan! He could have played here for days! He's still talking about it weeks!

LJ and Ben...
Theo, LJ, and Ben...
Evan was a very serious ambulance driver!

Astronauts busy flying the rocket ship...
This must be where Evan realized there was a rocket ship and costumes... He didn't leave here again willingly!!!
Now Evan is the Astronaut to the right of Kate!
LJ and Ellie loved this Launch Pad station. You could make your own design and see if fly up the wind tunnel. LJ did a great job making one. Ellie used someone elses, but she learned how to throw it just right so it would go all the way up, over, and then she would catch it to repeat! Pretty awesome actually!!

Here is a video of them playing in the Launch Station...

Trying to go eat lunch and he won't take the helmet off!
After lunch, we spent some time playing outside in the elaborate water table!

Charley and Ellie...
Busy boys...

Evan made to it the top of this weird climbing thing! LJ was right with him!

A few pics of the group before heading home! Evan and Charley- Love it!!
Sang was actually meeting her great friend Amy and kids- we were the tag-alongs! Amy's 3 precious kids are on the right.
