Fourth of July 2016
We had a fun two days celebrating the Forth of July!
We started on July 3rd going to lunch with friends after church... Had to get a picture of my girl in her precious outfit from Gigi! Tried before we ate...
During lunch...
Even while queso was spilling on it...
Found a great Mexican food restaurant to go to after church that the kids love... and LJ is getting SO good at grabbing a stuffed animal from this machine!
And I got my picture!
There was a fireworks show not far from our house, and Bella was pretty nervous! Barrett has really bonded with Bella lately though- and been taking such good care of her! So he made sure to cuddle with her to keep her as calm as possible!
Bella hiding under the covers! Hilarious!!!
Monday (July 4) morning, we had breakfast in the stroller so we could watch/ participate in the Brushy Creek 4th Parade! Excited kiddos!
We got in place and watched the THREE vehicles drive by - one which threw out some candy! And then we walked down to the pool with a big group to have popsicles and meet firefighters. I was not very impressed with this parade, but we still had fun and got in a good morning walk!!!
Then we met the McDonnells for lunch at Waterloo! So great to be with them, and not crowded at all! I love this precious baby Josie!!!
LJ and Kate busy playing a video game! hah!
Group shot!
After naps, we headed to Cimmaron Country Club for the Fourth of July festivities! Dianna, Val and I... such fun girls!
Barrett, John, and Billy...
Face painting time!! Boys each picked out their picture- Evan got a heart, and LJ got an eagle (but he wanted it on his arm)!
My only attempt at a shot of these three... so wish I had gotten a better one because they looked so cute!!! Thanks for their outfits Gigi and Capi!!!
Evan then played laser tag for over an hour!!! He was so happy and so cute! After his turn was over, he would turn his gun in and get RIGHT back in line to play again!! Hah!
We with there with a big group of friends, most of which have older kids. Some of the older daughters from our group fell in love with Ellie and watched her for me the entire night!!! It was awesome!!!
LJ and Ren were inseparable!! Love that he has made this great friend!
Busy guys...
Fireworks time... this is the kids first time to see a show like this- and it was AWESOME!!!
Glow sticks- always a hit!!
Kids loving the show!
Definitely the latest we have ever kept Ellie up... but she did great!!
Sweet friends!
