Last days of March 2016
March flew by with so much going on! We spent the last days of the month just getting used to our new house, city, and life! Here are some pics from the last days of the month...
Monday (3/28) after the boys' school, our precious friends Karyn and Piper came over for the afternoon/ evening! So Much Fun!!
These two have been friends since they were just months old (like LJ was 4 months and Piper was 2 months!!). Love them!
Dinner at the kids table!
And then we got to show them our Dinosaur bone play area...
Piper walked Bella and did an amazing job!!!! Thanks!!
And I got to take a break as Karyn pushed Ellie- and Evan (who is constantly hopping on the front of the stroller!).
Posing for us...Haha!
Ellie is so happy- walking Bella and holding Karyn's hand!!!
Ellie's leg!!!
No night is complete without dessert!!
Thanks SO Much for coming up!!! We loved it and hope to do again soon!!!!
Tuesday (3/29) I had the boys all ready to go to school and was driving there, when they started whining and insisting they did NOT want to be in their Tuesday/Thursday classes. They only wanted to be in MWF classes. They insisted the entire way to school, and Evan was almost crying. So when we got to the school, we walked into the directors office and got them out of the T/TH class!
They seemed immediately relieved and have been so happy since! So now we get to play together on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
So after leaving the school that Tuesday, I had no real plan for the morning with them... so we just stuck to Ellie and I's gym plan!
The kids got busy coloring away as soon as we got there!
They begged for smoothies after the gym, but finding a good place hasn't been easy! We tried Smoothie King one day because it was close to that gym. Good but not super healthy! We took these selfies to win a prize!
Wednesdays are Chapel day at the boys' new school, and parents are always invited. So Ellie and I have been sticking around after drop off to be in Chapel with the boys. It's just about 15-20 mins, but very cute! They sing songs and tell a Bible story, and then end with celebrating any birthdays of kids in the school.
Both boys always say they want us to stay, but LJ has just started not wanting to look at us while we are there! Oh no- it's happening!
Painting while Ellie naps!
Evening walks and finding new play grounds by our house!
Ellie rides in the stroller while we find the places, and then she walks Bella around the area while we are there! This is an Ellie demand (she screams until you hand her Bella's leash!).
The pose! Hah! She loves saying "CHEEEEEEEEEESE!!!"
Evan loves doing 'tough' poses!
Happiest with her dad!!
Thursday morning we went on a mission to find and explore our new mall (the closest one to our new house)- Lakeline Mall. It is smaller than our last one, but very kid friendly! The boys desperately needed new shoes, and we found the best kids' salesman ever at Journeys Kids! He loved superheroes even more than the boys (if that's possible), and they were in awe of him! He swore them to secrecy, and then told them selling shoes was his 'cover job' and he was really the super hero Green Arrow... and then he showed them a picture of him as Green Arrow on his phone! They ate it up!!! So fun! And he told they would only like these shoes if they wanted to run as fast as the Flash... LJ raced all around the store for 20 minutes! Hah!
Posing for us!
Ellie got some new shoes too! Happy girl!
Good-bye March!!!
