First Days as Cedar Park Residents!

We got back to Austin from our Florida beach trip on a Monday afternoon, and I couldn't believe how much Barrett had unpacked, organized, and done while we were gone!!! Best husband ever!!!!

The kids were so excited to explore their new house, find all their stuff, and play outside in the yard, that we really didn't leave the house much  that first week (which is not like us!). It was very nice though because I had so much I wanted to do around the house! I got out these mega blocks (big legos) to donate, and the kids were obsessed! So weird how an old toy that has been put away becomes their 'favorite'! OK, I guess we can wait a week to donate!

LJ asked for me to take a picture of this creation!

Our sweet friends, the Averys, invited us over to swim Wednesday afternoon! It was still a little too cold to swim most places, but they have been heating their pool!! Their pool was so much fun- water slide, bouncing board, and even sting rays in the pool(which Evan thought were real for a little while and was NOT happy about!). We had a wonderful time!
I was so glad that both boys did the water slide and the bouncy board (not called a diving board because their pool is not deep enough for older kids to dive!).
Go LJ!

Evan's turn!

Evan on the slide!

Here is a quick video of boys on the bounce board!

Ellie found a basketball that entertained her for a long time!

St Patrick's Day- and our first day trying out our 'new gym' (one of the Gold's gyms closest to our new house since that's where my membership is!).

The boys changed into different green outfits about 6 times that day... so this is just the one I happened to get a pic of! I have lost all control of their outfits!!! But at least they stayed green throughout!!!

We had two very sweet house warming gifts to open... we are too blessed! First, our neighbors brought over flowers for me and gifts for the kids!
Ellie was very excited too!!
She got some pajamas and a new baby with a paci- perfect!!!

And then I told them they had another gift to open from the McDonnells!!! They were SO excited! Haha!

Evan is obsessed with the Star Wars sticker book!

We are definitely enjoying our new neighborhood! We have a big flat back yard that is so great for the boys to play in (and I can see them from the kitchen! Huge!!).

Most evenings (if we don't have people over or go out), we go out for a little adventure walk with the kids! There are a few different small play areas not far from our house, and the kids love heading there after dinner! One of there favorites is the 'Dinosaur Bones'. The boys will tell you that these are all T-rex bones!

Some nights I think B does more climbing than the boys!

The walks home are always very nice! We usually stroll Ellie because we learned that otherwise, it takes about 3 times as long! Ellie loves to stop and touch every rock and stick!
There is also a 'pocket park' right across the street from our house that the boys LOVE to go play in! Our house is the second from the right in the picture below (you can't see much of it), so this will be a fun place to meet neighbors and get out in the evenings!
My boys!

We are so happy to be through the move and to be making our new house our home!!!
