September 2015 Randoms- Part 1 of 2

First half of the month flew by... lots of fun around here and keeping very busy! We are loving school and happy to be getting back into a routine!

Jumping boys!

Thursday September 3

Friday- no school on Fridays this year! The boys are having fun picking their own clothes ... they sure do have strong opinions! I love seeing what they come up with! Today LJ is wearing Evan's Robin shirt (2 sizes too small) and his TMNT robe from Auntie Patsy and Auntie Lori... and he wanted to stay this way all day!

Maybe it's his lucky robe.... Instant Winner with his HEB Buddy Bucks!
A fun visit with Bean one night!

The Kranchers came to town for Lego Fest (the day after we went- wish we had planned better!), so we got to meet them for lunch at Hat Creek!
Boys on a bean bag... enjoying a little playtime before bed!

Labor Day fun.... Barrett and the boys went to a Round Rock Express Baseball game! They had SO much fun!!! Evan would not stand next to Spike!
But he was ok with the card -board version! Haha!

Barrett had some work in El Paso, so we had to take our 'selfie for dad'!
Being silly with tongues out...
 And Ellie...

Ellie and Bella have become pretty great friends! They play together very often... Ellie will get a ball or Bella's toy and go all around the house picking it up and dropping it for her or playing tug of war!! It's very cute!

Thursday morning I went into Evan's room to find him fully dressed in his soccer outfit and ready to 'eat his breakfast'! Capi and Gigi got LJ this outfit in Europe a few years ago (he loved it and wore it often around the house- and still wears the soccer socks!). Evan looked so cute!

Evan giving his input on LJ's school project... we had to make a two-sided sheet with pictures and drawings of all his favorite things and family! LJ picked out ALL of his pictures (he had even taken some pictures of his legos that he insisted go on his paper), wrote his name, and drew a little picture. I glued them all on for him.
Finished Project.... LJ was SO EXCITED to take it to school!! All his favorite things on one side and family pictures on the other.

Bath time with my 3 little monkeys!! They love their nightly baths- especially when they get bubbles!

Thursday September 10...
I can never pick my favorite picture!

Enjoy a visit from Sang and Charley so I decided to attempt a picture of these two busy girls ... this has become so challenging!! Haha!

Evan provided a little entertainment... that helped for about 1 minute!
 Selfies for dad!

Made it to WHPP Family Fun Night!! We almost skipped it because 30 minutes before it was supposed to start, we got a down pour of rain!!! It was pouring, and the thought of racing through the parking lot alone in the pouring rain with 3 kids just wasn't working for me! But luckily, it went to a drizzle about an hour later! So we showed up 30 minutes late, but we still had a good hour of fun! And the boys had been SO excited to go- so happy it worked out! I will miss living 3 minutes from their school!!

Evan (of course had to change for the occasion) chose to wear his pilot hat, football jersey, and Batman rain boots! He was a hit!
LJ had so much fun running around the gym with his friends!! I can't believe how they are turning into such boys!
Ellie really enjoyed the live music and did a lot of dancing and crawling!  And I found some fun moms to get to know a little better too! So happy we got to go!
The boys' friend Sam wanted in the picture- it ended up being the best one!

No school on Fridays so we get to hang around the house and do whatever we feel like... which usually involves a long breakfast and costumes!!!

One way to get these kids excited... a trip to Toys R Us to pick out a birthday present!

 Even Ellie had fun!!

And guess who was home after naps... DADA!!! Happy happy kids!
Friday night at Hat Creek... they have live music now! Kate was too busy dancing to be in a picture (see the pink flash behind the boys! haha!).

So thirsty after all the playing, they shared water! Ha!
Saturday morning tennis for Evan... Ellie being Ellie!

 Evan did pretty well!
Another HEB Instant Winner! Evan's first time to get this (LJ has many times), and he was SO excited!!!
Fun at Connealy's 5th birthday party at Champions! The boys are not in school here this year, so they were so excited to get to go play there! Air Tram time!

Eagle Jr, Ben, LJ and a new friend having too much fun in the tunnel!

 Happy birthday Connealy!!
A quick trip to Trader Joe's... always time for a pose!

 My Trader Joe's shoppers!
LJ loves taking pictures of his Imaginext guys!
Ellie and I love getting fresh air while the boys are in school... and no better time to enjoy the trampoline (without the boys bouncing her!). She loves crawling all around and laughs so hard when I jump with her!

Poor Ellie has to get woken up from her morning nap most days to go pick up the boys... I love how she sleeps with her bottom up in the air!!
Our church has a monthly family lunch after the sermon where they bring in a food trailer and have activities outside. Ellie and I missed it as she was napping, but Barrett and the boys had so much fun! Here are the pictures I got... a bounce house, snow cones, Rudys... too fun!

 Oh Target... you never disappoint!!!
Fun Star Wars Chewbacca- how could we not get a picture!?

Love these monkeys! We were singing Happy Birthday to Calhoun here... this is the best (only) way to keep Ellie in one place these days!
Yay (clapping!!)....

Ellie is outgrowing her infant car seat, so we got Evan a new car seat so he could pass on his to Ellie.... What is the most exciting part of all this??? The BOX the car seat came in, of course!!! Hours of fun!

What's the best way to end any day??? A surprise visit from our Gigi!!!! She showed up just in time to help Barrett get the kids to bed (I was out at a fundraiser but got this heart-melting picture from B! Kids (and a dog) in heaven!!!

How is September already half-way over!
