Our week!
Started the week off thinking Evan had the stomach flu (we had been around people who had just had it), but in retrospect, I think he may have just laid down too quickly after drinking his bottle (terribly coincidental)!?
But after he threw all his milk up at 6 am on Monday, we took all precautions to contain a possible virus- including keeping LJ home from school! I kept waiting for both of them to be sick, but it never happened!!
After Evan got sick that morning though, I let him get in bed with me. He didn't sleep well for the 30 mins I was there with him, but after I got out of bed to make breakfast, he passed out hard and slept there alone for 4 hours! He has never done this, and looked so cute and little in our big bed!
Then he woke up happy, and never showed any more signs of being sick! Thank goodness!!
Laughing in bed when he woke up...
Happily eating!
Went to stroller strides on Wednesday, and Evan got to sit in the BOB stroller like a big boy for the first time (looking out and not in the car seat)... Enjoyed half the class looking around, then fell asleep hard!
After LJ's soccer class on Wednesday, we joined everyone at Hat Creek for dinner...
LJ playing with bean bags and Ben!
And Evan so happy to be sitting next to precious Kate!!
Thursday we started the day by picking up Gigi from the airport for a wonderful surprise visit!! Spent the morning shopping and playing! LJ was in heaven and wouldn't let Gigi leave his side!!!
And Evan was very happy too!
Thursday night we left the boys at home and went out for a nice family dinner to celebrate my brother's birthday! Mmmmm Vespiao! Happy birthday Joe!!!
Friday morning we went to see the Easter Bunny- went much better than I expected!! LJ gave him high fives, talked to him, and sat on his lap twice! Not sure how he is less scary than Santa, but I'm glad!!
And as I was trying to get something done on the computer after LJ's nap, I looked up to two little noses balancing on my screen staring at me! When I picked up my phone, he said "I'll be in the picture with Bert and Ernie!" Thanks LJ!

Boys with their cousin Eagle Jr- all giving each other courage to be with the Bunny! |
