First week of October
Had a great week! Here are some moments:
Monday:
Evan is seven weeks today! LJ is doing great at school and even smiled at me at said "Bye mama!"
LJ reading to Evan- already such a good big brother! And Evan was just staring at him listening! Precious!
Sleeping like his dad. He may look more like me, but this face is 100% Barrett!
Evan working on his smile! We have gotten many smiles everyday this week- although I still need to get a better picture to prove it!
Promise he is not as chunky as he looks here! We were mid diaper change- and these just aren't flattering shots!
Evan found his favorite spot at Monday night dinner again... Sleeping in Queenie's arms!
LJ and Kate
Tuesday:
LJ actually requested this picture, "Take a picture of me and the little guy!"
LJ in his fireman hat while he play with his Uncle Joe!
Evan enjoying the bumbo! The shirt was his pick ;)
Boys outside getting some fresh air- weather has been awesome!
A little wave from Evan!
Wednesday:
Evan taking a morning snooze
When LJ got out of the car, he insisted on going to sit by the owl- he had a full conversation with him!
LJ helping reorganize our Tupperware cabinet!
Always a good time to wear a cape and mask (this was totally his request!)!
Thursday:
Evan and Kate (Ben's baby sister!)
Tummy time is always more fun with friends!
Friday:
First we went to get a haircut- have a big week coming up starting with a visit from Granny and Aunt Betsy tomorrow and ending with his 2nd birthday a week from today!
LJ was a little fussy- think his teeth are really bothering him (3 incisors all just popped out in the last week- swollen and red gums)... so the hair dresser gave him his first lollipop! He had the bluest mouth I've ever seen! But it did keep him happy for the whole haircut!
Then that afternoon we enjoyed some time in the park playing basketball with dad!
LJ's turn to dribble!
Looking up to his dad!!
Chasing the ball and bringing it back!
And of course the little one slept through all the bball!
LJ reading his own book before bed... Guess we were taking too long to get started!
