Visiting a horse

We got to go to friends' house with Capi and Gigi on Sunday and meet some very nice horses and a donkey. LJ got to feed and pet the horses (kept a little distance from the donkey)!





 They had a pool at their house, and he kept circling it telling everyone 'Water, water' along with pointing and signing... wondering why we weren't getting in to swim! He had a lot of fun just playing in the yard too... he just LOVES being outside as much as possible!

Trampoline Park

Went back to Trampoline Park on Sunday... LJ has gotten so much better and more confident - guess all the practice time on his little trampoline is paying off! Still so much fun for Dad...  And the Mamas finally get in on all the fun!  Last time we went I was VERY pregnant and couldn't jump... but not this time! I see a frequent Sunday family outing in our future! A little sliding time... And video gaming! Too much fun!!

Easter Celebrations, 2017

We had a full week of celebrating Easter this year, and we really enjoyed ever part of it!  Our first event was our very favorite annual egg hunt at the McDonnell's house! We always start with a group shot of the kids as before they take off and start hunting (the only time we have true leverage!!)! What a cute group!  Ellie is bottom right corner, Evan is all the way right, 2 kids above Ellie, and LJ is back row 3rd from left! Ellie's faces crack me up!   Silly faces!   And the hunt is on!      Trying to keep Ellie hunting and not just opening each egg was quite a task!    Post-hunt: we sit and sort through all the treasured prizes found in the eggs!    Confetti egg time! Mother's Day Celebrations

What a special and spoiled week I had!!! On Tuesday I picked these two precious things up from Champions:  Then the first celebration (well not including the Chick-fil-a mom-son date knight) was on Wednesday. LJ's class at WHPP had a Mother's Day Tea- and how lucky we were that Gigi came to town late on Tuesday night and was able to join me!!  Since Gigi was there (the only Grandmother in the room!), we got a table all to ourselves... and also LJ had twice the amount of work! He served both Gigi and me our tea/ lemonade, cookies, and fruit snacks!  He made me a very fun necklace and made me a new coffee mug all wrapped up...      I started crying when I read it: "This is the hand you used to hold when I was only 4 years old" with a hand print ned to it!!! How special!!  And a flower for Gigi!!!   This was outside LJ's classroom...  I am chopped liver with these two! Haha!!  We picked up Evan a...
