Grandma came to visit us- only LJ (and maybe Bella) could possibly be enough motivation for her to get into Capi and Gigi's plane after all these years- but it worked!!! We had a WONDERFUL visit!!  LJ Meets Finn... cutest little lab puppy - and first dog to give him more attention than he could handle! Who knew stickers could be so funny!? "I love you Gigi- I will kiss your nose to prove it!" LJ is the Fourth Generation on both sides of his family! Pretty awesome!! 

Got to spend some special time with Aunt Patsy and Tio Sergio this weekend! Had a wonderful dinner at TNT on Firday, and then had several hours to play on Sunday.... and Aunt Patsy comes back next weekend with Lori and Brianna- too much excitement!!! Wish LJ was making a better face- think he was chewing! 

We got to spend the afternoon with Aunt Patsy and Sergio, and went to TNT for dinner. LJ enjoyed playing peek-a-boo at the table with everyone (including strangers behind us)... Then LJ kept pointing at my corn on the cob, so finally I handed it over... He LOVED IT! Munched away at mine and then Aunt Patsy's for 30 minutes- even though there were no kernels left!! LJ really knows 'hot'... he signs it when he looks at fire, when he touches hot bath water, when we are eating, and he even said it the other day when we got in the car and it was hot!! YouTube Video - The Wood Fam

 Fun Sunday just hanging out together... We missed church because the whole family slept until 8:45 am! Think we were all a little worn out from our Houston trip so it was nice to get some extra Zzzzs!  Got up and went for a walk with the dogs, then let LJ walk around the cul de sac with dad...    Then we went to a nearby park- LJ was so excited as soon as we pulled up! He was smiling and saying "Slide, slide!"  After that, home for an afternoon of playing around the house and football!!

 We drove up to Houston for the afternoon to celebrate Granny's birthday. LJ did so well on the drive- played and chatted the whole way up there, and then napped for 2 hours of the drive home. We had a wonderful visit and were so glad to see everyone! Happy birthday Granny! The boys immediately found toys to play with.. LJ just trying to fit in with the adult conversation! Most well-behaved dogs ever- tolerated everyone sticking their fingers in the crates and talking to them- and even gave kisses (which make LJ squeal with joy!)... LJ talked Queenie into walking him over to look at the frog and bird statues, and stream... Don't know how I got them to both look- pretty cute ! Cousins playing... Love this- four generations (and all so good looking!!) 

LJ is doing so many signs and trying to say so many words lately... In this video, he signs shoes, ball, car, attempts bear (but he actually has it down now- you are supposed to have your arms crossed like love then do your hands the way he does- got it right the next day!), orange, apple, dog, and bird. He also has been signing and saying (although not in this video) banana, airplane,  flower, cat, potty, and fish... boy, baby, cereal, cracker, cheese, candy, cookie, and many more! I think he knows more signs than me at this point! I need to pay better attention to his videos so I make sure I don't miss something he's trying to say!!

 LJ loves piling things up and putting things into containers (baskets, trash cans, etc...)... This morning, while I was making us breakfast, he decided to go around and find every shoe he could and stack them in a pile in our living room- he even got a pair out of the closet and a pair of his shoes out of my diaper bag (what he's holding in the picture- sorry it's blurry - he moves fast!!)... Add caption Then we went to Central Market and where we discovered a new fun playground! We can't decide who likes to watch TV more in the mornings, LJ or Calcy....

 LJ loves playing in the Tupperware cabinet (he knows it the one cabinet he has free range on!), and lately he has been sitting all the way in the cabinet so he can reach everything (sure to make the biggest mess possible)! This morning, he actually shut himself in the cabinet and was playing peek-a-boo with me! Pretty funny!!

LJ has this down- and he actually says most of what he's pointing at a lot of the time (says "eyeee" as he points at eyes, "Noo" as he points at nose, "Moe" for mouth, etc)...

This is not the most exciting video, but it pretty much sums up several hours of my typical day! I have a very busy little man, always on the move!   Uncle Joe, AJ, and Alexa came over for dinner tonight.   LJ had a great time showing AJ all his toys- he took about 20 toys out of his basket and walked them over to AJ- one at a time! Here is LJ pointing to Uncle Joe's eyes (this is actually a little painful to be the recipient of- but we are so proud of him for knowing eyes!).
