Last Day of Preschool and HOPE Spring Sing 2016

The boys' last day of school at HOPE was a quick and fun day! They had a normal drop off time of 9 am, but then their Spring Sing show started at 11 am and they got to go home (they normally go home at 2 pm). 
They were excited for Spring Sing and had been practicing their songs for us for weeks! 

I attempted a 'last day of preschool' picture, but I didn't quite get what I was aiming for! Darn! The boys had been making guns out of their gear toys so I let them keep them for the picture... 


And here is a memory from their first day this year...



Their teachers always had notes about the day on the white boards outside their classes. Evan's teacher (for his 'Lions' class) had this out today! 

We were so blessed to have Capi, Gigi, Grandad AND Queenie there!!! Knowing everyone would make it and hearing that the room usually filled up, we participated in the silent auction for the first and second rows at the performance... and we won!!! Well, we won the second row... but still so nice to have great reserved seats for our big group to enjoy the show from!! 

Sadly the only picture I got of all of us watching! 

I fed Ellie a lot in an attempt to keep her quiet! 

Each class did a solo performance, and then the whole school did a few songs together. It was very cute!! Evan's class came out first, then LJ's....

Gigi and Capi got into town and went straight to the school, so the boys hadn't gotten to say hi/ hug them yet! They were so happy to have all their grandparents there! 

 Got pictures with their both boys' sweet teachers and said, "Happy Summer!!"

Swim, Gymnastics, and Soccer - Spring 2016

After moving to Cedar Park, we got the boys in 3 'extracurricular activities'... Swim and Gymnastics on Thursday mornings, and soccer on Saturday mornings. They really seemed to enjoy all three! Ellie was usually surprisingly patient during their classes, although sometimes she had more crazy days! But usually she would walk around, have some snacks, and play!  Here are some pictures from all three activities the last two months, and there are some videos at the end of swim and gymnastics!  Evan swimming...  LJ floating... He flew through the first 5 stations of Nitro 1!  Evan was a little slower to warm-up to swim classes, but he ended up making through station 3 (will be on station 4 next time we go!).  I think she likes swim the most because she has a clear view to watch her brothers!     LJ swimming on his back...   this is new, and he is doing very well!   LJ had such great swim! Trampoline Park

Went back to Trampoline Park on Sunday... LJ has gotten so much better and more confident - guess all the practice time on his little trampoline is paying off! Still so much fun for Dad...  And the Mamas finally get in on all the fun!  Last time we went I was VERY pregnant and couldn't jump... but not this time! I see a frequent Sunday family outing in our future! A little sliding time... And video gaming! Too much fun!!

Ellie - Our Earliest Crawler!

Our little 'surprise' baby got us again and started crawling 2 months earlier than the boys did! She was close for about a week, and then at just about 8.5 months, she took her first crawls! She is getting the hang of it quickly... time to secure the legos that seem to always be all over the floor! First she started rocking on her knees, and doing little army crawls/ knees/ army crawl to get places. Then about a week later, we saw her first crawls. Within a week after those first crawls, she was all over the place!!! She will come find me in the kitchen if I leave her sitting in the living room and will venture all over the house! She's not fast, but she's pretty good! And so proud of herself! Here are some videos of her progress...
