We stuck with Coach Ben and most of the great kids from LJ and Evan's flag football team for LJ's first season of basketball. We played through the YMCA... LJ was on the 6U team Thunder, and Barrett was the assistant coach!! I was so proud of both LJ and Barrett!! It was awesome to watch this amazing team and amazing coaches! All players were in their first season of basketball- but you would never have guessed that from how well they played!! (We actually had some teams angry that we would beat them so badly. We didn't know our team would be this good... We will try to find a better solution for this next season!) LJ was number 3... here are some action shots!  I was always working hard to keep these two busy enough and entertained enough to get to watch the games! We had heard about this awesome new park not far from our house, so we met our friends the Golds there one Saturday morning to check it out!!  Modified see-saw...  Cool obstacle-like things to do- and parents got to do them too!  (Pic below from left to right is Brinkley, Keri, Evan and LJ... Ellie and I joined them up there after I took the picture). Rope-swing thing!  Boys' turn! There is also a smaller play ground part with a more traditional play scape!  And of course, we needed to get a little sports in too!  A fun little zip-line! Both my boys did it once (maybe LJ did it twice)!  Brinkley ziplining- she did it over and over!  And it's all right by a pond, so we had to go say hi to the ducks before leaving!!  Fun morning!! We will be back Joanne Land!!
