Our girl is growing up! At 2 years, 4 months, Ellie went from sleeping in her crib to a double size bed!!  Since Ellie starting taking over the queen size better when we travel to El Paso, and since I was so ready to sell baby furniture (half of which was sitting in our garage waiting for Ellie to be done with the crib), we decide to make a big leap! Unlike the boys who went from their cribs, to the toddler bed version of their crib, and then to double beds (Evan just a year ago), we took Ellie straight from her crib to a double size day bed! Here is her room before... She has been in Evan's first crib since a newborn! And a few hours later, we had her room looking like this!!! I order the bed online and put it together myself!  She and Evan were both SO excited to sit on her bed and read and play, but sleeping along was not as exciting to her!! Reading by each other in bed!  Bella is very excited to have another bed she can jump into also!!! ...

We got to celebrate Eagle Jr's 6th birthday with him at his Chuck-E Cheese birthday party!  The boys were so excited to go! They got busy playing right away!  Time to sing Happy Birthday!  After cake, they got Dippin' dots! Yum! Eagle wasn't very into my pictures! Haha!  My kids love Dippin' Dots!  Ellie chowing down at the end of the table! She found her own seat and got busy eating all by herself!  Then Eagle got to get into the ticket blaster. He got to pick a friend to take, and he picked LJ! So fun!!  Starting to blow... and it's loud!  Pinata time!   Every kid grabs a string...  And pull!!  Hard to believe this kids are growing up so quickly! This picture was in my Facebook feed- I remember the first day I got to hold Eagle Jr in the hospital like it was yesterday!!  Happy birthday sweet boy!!! 

I got to have 2 very special afternoons with two of the most precious boys I know! On Tuesday afternoon, I got Jaime to come over early to be with Ellie (mostly while she napped) so I could pick up Evan from school alone, and we could spend a few hours together- just us!!! He was excited- but I think I was more excited!!! I said we could go anywhere at ALL that he wanted, and he picked Orange Leaf for ice cream! A boy after his mama's heart!! :) We got cold, so went to enjoy the nice weather outside! Evan made sure to get every drop of his ice cream! Then he wanted to go to Brushy Creek Park. We played on the play ground for a little while, and then went for a walk together by the water! On Friday, I went to LJ 's school to have lunch with him...  Then after school, we met some other friends and their sons for a group Mom-Son dessert date!
