Ellie is 16 Months!

Image
Our sweet little princess has had a busy few months! I started to write a blog about her being 15 months, and then the month got away from me! But I must say, I am a little glad I waited since many things happened in the last 30 days!! And her well check was scheduled for 2 weeks after her 15 month birthday. She got sick right before her well check so we had to post-pone it! Here are her 15 (and 1/2) month stats: Weight: 24 lbs 10 oz ........................75-90% Height: 31 in....................................50-75% Head circumference: 45.6 cm..............50% The boys' stats are below to compare. So Ellie weights more, is in the middle for height, and has the smallest head! BUT she was also 2 weeks older than the boys when they got theirs done! Evan: Weight  24 lbs, 3 oz  (45%) Height   30 in (17%) Head Circumference  47 cm (44%) LJ: Weight   25lbs 8oz (75%) Height   32 in long (75%) Head circumference   49cm (90...

After my dad's parents had my Uncle Lee, they were having a lot of trouble having a second baby. They had several miscarriages and were desperate for another baby. So my grandfather walked from his house, on the road to the mountain, then all the way to the top (and the trail was brand new and not very 'groomed'), prayed for a baby, and then walked all the way home- ALL BAREFOOT!!! My Siti (grandmother) said that his feet were swollen and bloody with rocks and everything else when he got home. And my Siti went from the back of the church to the front of the church on her knees. Soon after this, my Siti was pregnant with my Aunt Patsy! She is the 'Miracle...

The weather has been mostly amazing! Can't believe it's January, and we are outside playing in short sleeve shirts!  When the boys are out of school and go to the gym with me, they INSIST on getting a smoothy afterwards! I loves smoothies too, so this works out!  Ellie loves her smoothy too!! Lost Creek Park fun! Here is a video of Ellie doing the slide! She is all over it! http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=bdR7p-2PTpE She also loves swinging!  New Broncos Jerseys from Aunt Alexa!
