Queenie and Grandad left for Idaho early Tuesday morning. The night before they start their 2 1/2 day drive, we always have dinner with him. This year, for the first time, we got to host the last of the last dinner (a joke as we talk about the 'last' everything before they leave: 'last Jack Allen's', 'last Vivo', etc)...  BBQ and swimming with the family before saying good-bye...and a little birthday celebration for Uncle Dan... made for a wonderful time! Dinner at the kids' table! Blowing out candles for Uncle Dan's Birthday....  A cupcake frenzy- these boys ate so many! Everyone watching the boys inhale cupcakes...  Sugar high kicking in... and laughing and screaming... happy little monkeys! These 2 boys love 'dress up!' Saying good-bye... Kiss good-bye for Queenie... Blowing kisses... Pre-Bedtime fun with Dada! Happy happy birthday Uncle Dan... and we...

Well, LJ has officially finished his first year of 'school'- Kids Day Out (KDO) at Oak Hills United Methodist Church was a truly wonderful experience for LJ. He loved his teachers (Ms. Rita and Ms. Suzie) and classmates, and he will definitely miss going to play this summer!  He was always SO excited to go to school, and never cried when I left him! He would turn around and say "Bye Mama! Love you!" and be totally into some activity with one of his friends before Evan and I were out the door!  I can't believe it's over! This is a picture of the final craft that was sent home- a framed picture of LJ's class with all their hand prints around the picture... priceless!!

Saturday... With extra time between the Farmer's Market and Vivo, we headed to a park for a little extra play time... Peek-a-book over the tunnel... A sweet moment between father and son... Post-nap swim time... Evan having fun with a little independence.. got a little kick going on too! Then after church on Sunday, we had the Benzons over for some BBQ and swimming... too much fun! Warming up...  LOVE! Kate's turn... Bella is becoming quite the little swimmer! Evan's turn... And finally, Calcy's turn! Barrett with LJ's pelican floaty... and Lauren thinking Uncle B is pretty silly! Time for both boys to practice going under water (Evan's first time!)... They did great! Post-swim relaxing.. Evan almost fell asleep like! A little basketball with the last bit of energy before a great nap! Learning from his cousin Lauren! Thanks so much for hangi...
