Here is the 6 week old! Happy 6 weeks to our little Evan! He's growing so fast! And LJ loves his little brother and is getting better with him every day! He now puts the paci in Evan's mouth very gently! Sleep: We have usually been getting at least one 4-6 hour stretch of sleep for about a week- except last night when he was up every 3 hours... We think it's the 6 week growth spurt! Eating: he is not a good nurser, but be attempt it about 1-2 times a day. Then I pump to give him bottles of breast milk... We just upped his bottles to 3.5-4 oz per bottle for a total of about 25 oz a day. Temperament: quick to scream at us but usually quick to calm down too! Loves and prefers being in arms! Wants to sleep there as much as possible! Awake more and definitely making more eye contact. Only a few smiles so far- nothing compared to LJ who smiled all the time starting around 5 weeks! Went back to Trampoline Park on Sunday... LJ has gotten so much better and more confident - guess all the practice time on his little trampoline is paying off! Still so much fun for Dad...  And the Mamas finally get in on all the fun!  Last time we went I was VERY pregnant and couldn't jump... but not this time! I see a frequent Sunday family outing in our future! A little sliding time... And video gaming! Too much fun!!

Just a few pictures from the week... Shopping at target, LJ found some Devil horns he had to have! We play peek-a-boo every night at dinner- it never gets old! It's really fun any where- and with anything! LJ brushing his hair while shopping with me at heb...maybe I should limit his access to my diaper bag!? Me "Yay! Evan is finally taking a little nap out of my arms!"..... One minute later... At almost 10 lbs, I attempted to put Evan in a 0-3 month outfit (instead of newborn) this weekend! Queenie and Grandad are back in Austin after their summer in Idaho, and we are so happy to have them back! On the night of their return, Barrett was out I town for work. But LJ, Evan and I got to meet the family at Santa Rita for a welcome home dinner! LJ quickly found his favorite spot on his cousin Lauren's lap! Eagle Jr amazing us with his eating! One of the funniest and grossest things I have ever seen- Eagle eating a spoon full of catchup and queso! Haha! And we are so happy to resume our weekly family traditions. Of course one of our favorites is Saturday Farmers Markets followed by Vivo! Evan and I didn't make the Farmers market this week (Barrett and LJ met everyone there), but Evan did have his first Vivo experience! These boys now love sitting by each other and playing! LJ is still handling having a new brother very well and helps me a lot! He loves Evan, and at 5 1/2 weeks, Evan seems to be noticing his older brother a little more! - The Wood Family
