Had a fun time at the stroller strides Christmas party! Funny to think about the days we could lay all the babies on a blanket and enjoy our coffee- boy have times changed! Now it takes a LOT of effort to get them to sit long enough to get one good picture!! Here is LJ looking innocent standing behind Little Eagle And then... Yank! On wednesday we drove to Houston for the day to visit LJ's great grandmother, Granny, and family that lives there. We got to see Aunt Betsy, Aunt Nancy, Grant, Sarah, and Rebecca. LJ and Eagle got to rode in the back seat of Aunt Funny's (Laura) car together, and were so cute chatting to each other as we drove! They are both such talkative little guys!! Then when we got to Granny's, there was a very exciting surprise visit from Santa! LJ was not happy that the scary man with the beard showed up here too- so he stayed a safe distance away and in Queenie's arms the while time he was there!! All the other cousins really enjoyed the visit and the opportunity to remind Santa of their Christmas wishes!! Queenie took LJ outside to play in Granny's beautiful yard Here we are with LJ's cousins Lauren, And Kate! When we went back inside, LJ insisted on sitting on his Aunt Funny's lap while playing! Thank goodness little Eagle isn't jealous! He even gave LJ a big h...

Had a great time at our PJ Christmas Party on Tuesday! Kate fed LJ while I tried to help set up. LJ helped make sure all the decorations looked good, ate lots of snacks, played with his friends... He got some great kisses and love from his cousin Eagle... He got to 'ride' my back- his new favorite thing to do! And don't tell his dad, but he had a great time playing in the girls' dollhouse and kitchen!! Overall a very fun morning!! -The Wood Family Location: Benzon House
