Saturday we had the Surratts over for dinner... Jack and LJ had a fun playing (as long as LJ didn't hug too hard!)...

Ann read a few books to both the boys- LJ insisted on sitting on her lap too!

All the boys were actually sitting on the couch and it was very cute- but I missed the good picture!

Bella waits by LJ's door for him to wake up in the mornings... I am actually convinced she scratches on the door and wakes him up some mornings!

Friday was Calcy's first day as an office dog- she got to go to work with Barrett! They both enjoyed the day very much!

A Visit to the El Paso Zoo- Our first time!

We started out the year with a family outing to the El Paso Zoo- and my good friend Sara, Ava, and Oliver joined us!  Oliver and Ava had been there before so he was our tour guide!  We were pleasantly surprised by how many great animals were there! We will definitely be going back! Lots of zebras- and they were hanging ostriches... LJ just observing while Gigi points things out... Oliver and LJ checking out Zebras... Ok the giraffes were definitely MY favorite- watching them drink water was so funny (and a little sad!)...  Gigi, LJ, and Ava looking at the funny little animals... Just funny... Lobos!! The world's largest rodent- gross! Looking at the reptiles... There were also lions, tigers, lots of birds, sea lions, and more!! Think we had more fun than LJ- but hopefully he will be more excited every time we go!

April 2016 Randoms

Vivo is actually a few minutes closer to our new house than our old one, so we always try to make our Saturday morning visit with Queenie and Grandad!! We will sure miss them in a few weeks! Ellie has been a little challenging at meals... thankfully she has many laps to welcome her!      Barrett took Evan and Ellie to Academy for a little golfing while LJ and I unpacked the POD one day! Ellie loves the trampoline as much as her brothers!! And she loves coloring!!! She really gets into it!  This is our 'waiting rock'! The boys run down the trail behind our house, and can only go as far as the 'waiting rock' without us. Then they have to wait for us to get there before moving on! They are great at stopping there :) Side note: I no longer have ANY control over their outfits... they dress themselves (often many times) every day. And guess what- they love matching themselves!!!
